Warning, this chapter has some curse words in it. It’s mostly Mike saying it, per the norm, but don’t hate and say that I didn’t warn ya'll before. You know the drill, kids don’t say those words to your parents or around adults. Thank you.

They really need a warning?

Well yeah, some people don’t like having swear words in the things they read so I figured I’d give them a heads up. It’s called be considerate. Maybe you should try it some time.

I did. Worse minute of my life.

Just shut up and let the reader read, k.

Your POV

Playing horror games are fun. You know what’s better? Playing it in real life. The adrenaline, the jump scares, the whole fan experience, seeing your favorite characters come to life, and the threat of being killed! Well, that last one isn’t so fun but the rest certainly is for me.

I came back to Freddy's Pizzeria to say hi to Foxy and bug Mike. Dipper went with me. Read: I dragged Dipper with me.  He suggested bringing Pacifica but I said I should probably give her some time to just cool down. Her parents are furious still and are now looking all over town for her. They’ve stopped by our house a couple times, but I’ve prepared for that. We’ve made an escape plan and have been over it countless times. If they come to the door, run into the basement. Behind a bookshelf there’s a tunnel that was constructed from the last people who lived here and it comes out in the woods. Hide in the woods until we give the ok.

So far, no ones figured it out yet. Aside from Mabel, my little brother, Dipper, my mom and me knowing, no one else has. She’s still technically missing and with the help of my moms amazing makeup skills and wigs from her time back as a kid when certain styles of hair were hot, she was able to turn Pacifica into a whole knew person. So we can hang out in public and go safely to places, such as the mystery shack. Pacifica started to bond with Mabel a little more now, and currently she’s hanging out with her and trying on different clothing and teaching Mabel to have a more "open and modern day lines of clothing choices." And also what goes with what and what should never be paired with. Mabel teaches her to be more excepting and loosen up. Good pairing, they are. When they get along.

It’s been a few days, and Pacifica just seems to fit right in with our family. Even p/n likes her. Speaking of which, that deer is with me in the night-guard’s office, too. He has been having a hard time in letting me go off on my own lately. I was kinda surprised I was even able to go to Dippers and the party at the mansion without him finding me. I’m pretty sure that that deer is magical. He would just randomly appear next to me whenever I turn around and left the house without him. P/n probably loves attention.

"Door warning!" I said as I hit Mike's door button. I heard it slam shut. Mike mumbled some very strong words about the name tag above his head and not being able to control his glowing hand. Foxy was petting p/n, and he was loving the attention. Dipper was looking down the hallway for Chica.

"Good on my side." Dipper said poking his head back inside the room. I gave him a thumbs up and let Mike's hand free. He checked his watch and he actually smiled. "Only one more hour. Fuck yes."

"Language." I scolded, only for Mike to just roll his eyes. "I know the language I’m speaking, it’s 'I say what I want to say and I don’t have to listen to what a little kid tells me to do.'"

"I’ve never heard that language before there, lad." Foxy didn’t get the joke, or he did and was trying to make Mike angry. Either way, Mike just looked at him funny and waved him off. "Whatever."

"Y/n." Dipper said in a scared voice. I looked at him and seen he was focusing down the hall. I looked at the tablet, which resembled a arcade game with its small pixel like people and structure. The warning icon was flashing again and I pressed Dipper's door button. It slammed shut.

"Almost over guys." I said happily. I love this so much, but it does get stressful when your making sure that no one dies. That’s a big party pooper right there. I’d rather have Mike and his horrible puns/sassy attitude/sarcastic comments/overall Mikeiness to be the party pooper. But I think he’s warming up to us, Dipper, Foxy and me. We just pop on in and he’s like, "This again." I know he really means, "Oohh, another fun and exciting night with y/n and her friends. We get to play Five Nights at Freddys'. This is what I wake up for."

A shiver went down my spine and I jumped. Dipper noticed and asked, "What’s wrong, y/n?"

"I don’t know. But somethings about to happen."

"Nothin' bad, aye lass?" Foxy asked while putting p/n's ears. His eyes were closed and just seemed to melt into Foxy's side. Awww, that’s so cute. They are like BFF's. Best Furry Friends.

"It probably is." Mike muttered. He shut one eye and mimicked Foxy's voice. "Aye lass?" Foxy shot him a glare. "I don’t know. Probably not."

"Probably?" Dipper raised a brow. I shrugged and opened up his door. Chica was gone, thank goodness. Powers almost gone, as well. Just a few more minutes……

A jolt of energy went right through me and the bell rung. Mike cheered and Dipper gave a sigh of relief. But then, their rejoice of another night survived was cut short. The tablet started glitching again, like it does every night to return to its original camera options like in the actual game. But then the screen went black and the surface started to burn. I dropped it, hissing from the burns on my hands. It fell onto the table and blue sparks of electricity or energy fizzled from it. I jumped out of the chair and backed up. Dipper went over to me and Mike stood behind me. Foxy got onto his feet really fast and placed his arms around us all, sorta like a protective hug. P/n just sat there like he didn’t notice or care.

The tablet rose up on its own and hovered in the air. The lights to the office and the rest of the building flickered off. Footsteps echoed down the hallway and I heard the faint familiar music of Freddy when the power goes out. Blue light danced around the room, casting long dark shadows on us and the walls. The tablet's screen light up again in a big bright flash of white. A small black game figure with a lock on it popped onto the screen. I remembered seeing that and knowing it was an locked character. You have to do something special to unlock certain characters, at least that’s what I guessed. Is this what this means? A new player?

"New player unlocked." Said a robotic voice from the tablet. I guess so. The lock on the character unlocked itself then disappeared. The dark character turned to color and showed a small guy wearing a black shirt with a design on it, too small to tell. He had small little glasses, dark hair with the front part pink. “Markiplier." Said the voice.

I barely got a chance to comprehend what it said before a flash of light came from it, forcing us to look away or cover our eyes. When it was gone, the tablet was on the desk, with the normal screen and thankfully no sparks of electricity and the lights were back on. But the thing that was different was the gentleman laying on the floor. His back was too us, but I could tell he was certainly taller than us, roughly around the same hight as Mike. He wore a black shirt, dark blue greens, and sneakers. His hair was dark and his skin was kinda caramel in color. None of us dared to move. Dipper held onto my arm, Mike held my shoulder tightly and Foxy's head was almost directly on top of my head, snarling at the guy. P/n was still just sitting there and looking at the man, uninterested. Like he’s seen this kinda stuff everyday. Deer is weird.

"Uhhhhh….." The guy groaned and started to get up. His voice was one I’d recognize anywhere, but I was too shock to do anything.

He stood, his back still facing us. He rubbed his eyes and let his arm fall back to his side. He seen what was in front of him, I assume because he suddenly tensed up and kinda jumped a little bit backwards.

He looked at the wall in front of him, the desk then the windows. He walked backwards, kinda freaked out. Then Foxy tensed up, as if preparing to attack. His metal endoskeleton creaked and clicked  as he moved. The guy heard it and froze. Hesitantly, he slowly turned around and seen us. He had dark brown eyes, black glasses, the front part of his hair died pink and on his shirt had his YouTube logo. The white M with a pink mustache across it. Above his head was a name tag, like Dipper, Mike and Foxy had, which read a name I’ll never for get.

Markiplier!

He screamed and jumped back, which caused us to scream. Mine was more of a fan girl scream then of fright, but I still screamed. Foxy bared his teeth and growled, Mike lifted his fists up if prepared to fight and Dipper put his arm over me protectively. Boys.

"Calm down guys, I know who this is." I said setting my hand on Dipper's extended arm. He looked at me confused but let me go. "He does seem familiar…" Foxy relaxed. Mike still held his fists up and kept his eyes on the guy. Mark was leaning against the desk and held the edge white knuckle tight.

"Your Markiplier, aren’t ya?" I asked taking a step forward. Mark opened his mouth to speak but couldn’t put together any words. He stuttered and ran his hand through his hair. "Calm down buddy and answer the question." Mike demanded rudely. Mark flinched away from him a little but then turned to me and nodded. "H-h-h-how-ow h-how-"

"How did you get here?" I saved him the trouble of trying to ask the question. I quickly scanned his thoughts to know what he was trying to say, among other things. He seen Foxy and Mike as the major threat, Dipper and me as nothing to worry about. He wasn’t surprised that I knew he was Mark, a lot of people know so it wouldn’t faze him at all.

"We'll, I don’t know. You kinda appeared in a bright light after the tablet started glitching and admitting electrical sparks."

"You don’t know? You brought him here." Mike looked at me, kinda angry which I didn’t like. One wrong word and I’ll slap him, I swear. That’d be fun actually.

"I didn’t say I brought him here. I would know if I did, probably." That didn’t reassure Mike, but honestly it didn’t reassure myself. "What I do know is that Mark isn’t a threat and is very confused and/or scared." I turned back to him. Mark still couldn’t talk correctly and nodded anyways.

"So what do we do now that he’s here?" Dipper asked me. I shrugged. "Figure out why he’s here I guess."

"Oh! Oh!" Foxy raised his hand in the air and jumped excitedly. "That tablet there! It be saying things like, 'New player!' That’s what it meant."

"Good job foxy." I said rubbing his head like he was a puppy.

"So, we did something to unlock the new player Markiplier. The King of Five Nights at Freddy’s!" I jumped and clapped. Mark nodded his head, apparently still trying wrap his head around this entire thing.

"W-w-why," he managed to get out a word, "Why….I-I-I-is-s-is is-s." He gave up after a minute and just gestured to me to help him out here. "Why is there a deer here? Long story, short version: he’s my pet, his name is p/n and he fallows me everywhere."

"How come you know what he’s asking?" Mike asked me. I gave him a look that meant: really? You don’t get it by now?

"Well, Mikey."

"Don’t call me that."

"I am obviously unique and have in my power the ability to do what I want. That’s why, clears it up doesn’t it?"

"Uhhh, no. Um actually-" Mike couldn’t finish what he was saying because I hushed him. "So, Mark." I turned back to him and tapped my chin. I heard him mumbling under his breath, trying to say the word 'the' without stuttering. Some sorta affect from the game? The tablet brining him here? Whatever it is, it’s gonna take a moment for him to talk correctly. For now, I’ll do it.

"Do you know where you are?"

He nodded his head and looked at Foxy. I pointed at him and tried to say something again, with no change in his speech ability. He crossed his arms and looked at me, giving me permission.

"Yes, that’s Foxy. And you are indeed at Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria!" I gave jazz hands and Foxy mimicked me. He was the only one who seemed enthusiastic. "Y/n, are you sure he’s a good guy? I don’t get a good vibe from him."

"Vibe?" I raised a brow.

"I’ve been watching YouTube." Dipper shrugged. I scoffed and smiled. "I need to show you the gamers, because this is Markiplire! He’s a good guy. And one of the best players of this game!"

"Game?" Foxy raised a brow. I inhaled sharply and tensed up. Crap, I didn’t tell him. I wasn’t planning on it anyways, who would want to? How would you even do it? Hey Foxy, by the way, your in a game, multiple games actually. Your entire existence is basically code, fan ideas, and maybe pixels. No. That’s like someone saying to me, hey you’re an idea conceived by a teenager who was a fan of a show and decided to write a book for other fans of that same show. Your entire existence is basically words, fan ideas and maybe some comments on that said book. Wink.

"Ahhh, it’s an inside joke." I looked at Dipper who nodded in understatement.

"B-b-b-bu-b-b-b-but-but-"

'Don’t tell them Mark, they don’t know.' I told him mentally. He jumped and gave me a strange look then tried to climb up on the desk to get away. I just rolled my eyes and shook my head. "Okay, he’s still freaked out and can’t speak, and time just restarted itself again."

"What?" Mike looked at his watch. Then he seen it was indeed 1 am. How we made an hour without being attack, my conclusion is luck. Definitely.

"Can’t I get a break!" Mike yelled at the ceiling and collapsed onto his knees and let out a long dramatic groan. "Mikes more dramatic than Pacifica." Dipper muttered. He paused for a moment then shook his head. "Never mind, that’s a lie."

"Who’s this Pacifica lass?" Foxy asked. Dipper explained to him who she was, just a quick run down. Mike continued to curse at the ceiling, saying words not appropriate for a family friendly company. During this, Mark was still trying to steady his breathing and was holding onto the desk's edge so hard his knuckles were white. P/n trotted to him and sat down in front of him. Mark looked at him curiously as p/n placed his head on his knees. Mark smiled and rubbed his head and the spot behind his ears, the spot p/n just absolutely loves. His little tail wags back n forth like a dog. Ahhhh, such a weird deer.

"So, Mark." I hopped onto the desk and sat down next to him. "Quick run down, your in the game for real, but don’t tell that to Foxy, Mike or any of the other animatronics here. For obvious reasons." He nodded, understanding. So I continued, "The goal is the same, survive till six am but now we have new little special things to help us along. Foxy's on our side, Dipper can come up with plans to help us preserve our energy for the longest, Mike has experience, and I have power." I had my eyes glow and sparks crackle from my skin to prove a point.

"Now, I just have to figure out what your contribution is." I tapped my chin looking at him. P/n continued to stroke his hand, wanting more attention from him. Mark looked at me a little surprised and concerned. Then he tried to speak again, "I……can……b-b-be-be-be-beat-beat." He gave up and slumped down, his hand rested under his chin.

"I think I can help with that." I snapped my fingers and white glowing line of energy snapped into existence. It circled around in place before shooting into Mark's mouth. He coughed and held his throat, the glow fading into where his voice ox would be.

"Ah, god." He coughed. "That was the weirdest thing ever."

"Hey, he can speak!" Dipper came over to us. P/n then lost interest in Mark and went over to Mike, who didn’t seem to care. Foxy stood up, almost hitting his head on the low ceiling.
"Yar, he can be tellin' us what he knows then."

"I know I’m freaked out." Mark backed up a little when Foxy came a step closer. "I was making myself a sandwich when my tv started to glitch. It went all white and started to say weird jumbled up words. I tried to find what was wrong with it, but then a flash of light and some sparks later I’m here."

"Sweet." I smiled. Mark looked at me, thinking that what I said was kinda the wrong reaction. I couldn’t help it, though. The Markiplier is here, sitting next to me! Can you blame me for being excited? Didn’t think so.

"So, when you unlock a character, it teleports the actual person here? That must be some powerful magic, reaching through dimensions and bringing someone over." Dipper thought out loud. "Wait, magic?" Mark asked kinda weird out a little. "Is that what this is?" Mike stood and examined me. "Are you-you some kinda witch or something?"

"Or something." I gave him a smile and a look that meant: I’m just full of secrets. "Your starting to creep me out kid, and I already have animatronics to deal with. I don’t need some witch kid, teleporting guy, and-" he paused looking at Dipper. "Actually, him I’m fine with."

"Thanks?" Dipper asked kinda confused. "Not sure how to take that."

"I think it’s- Look Out!" Foxy jumped up and ran to the door behind Dipper. Chica had snuck up and was about to attack. Foxy pushed him down and I reacted quickly. I pressed the door button on the tablet and the metal door slammed shut with a loud bang.

"That was a close one." I gave a sigh of relief. "You ok Dips?"

Dipper nodded and steadied his breathing, his hand holding down the door button. "I-I’m fine. That scared the heck out of me, though." He looked up at Foxy who had his eyes focused out the window. "Thanks Foxy."

"Ahh, no problem there kidy." He ruffled Dipper's head, messing up his hair and his hat. "This is now my worst nightmare come to life. These guys again!" Mark flipped Chica off when he looked through the window. Like before, Chica returned the favor. Mark Kinda looked confused at him for a second. "Ok, didn’t expect that back."

"They picked it up from me, those freakin fazfuckers." Mike grumbled crossing his arms and standing next to Mark. "You know, I like you." Mark smiled.

Meanwhile, I was checking on Mark's player info. All it said was, in all caps: KING OF FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S!!!

"That’s helpful." I muttered. He was good at strategy in the game, knowing about power saving, listen for key sounds to give clues for when or which animatronic would stop by, and he could last long on any given night. Unless he didn’t.

"Mark, I want you to work the tablet." I held it out to him. Mark looked at me cautiously, and at the tablet like it was going to explode. He held his arms to his side and clenched his fists. "Do I have to? I mean, that thing kinda zapped me here, I don’t want to end up somewhere else."

"Don’t worry, you’ll be fine." I smiled and he held out his hands slowly, muttering, "That’s still not exactly reassuring."

"It’s essentially the same as before. Just different layout, and you got four other people to help." I said looking over his shoulder as he looked down at the tablet. "Y/n?" Dipper asked behind me. "One moment, Dip. Each person has their own little info box, like any game, and there’s little alerts for when there’s an animatronic, which is nice, and-"

"Y/n. Can you release my hand." He pointed to the still closed door and his hand that was still glued to the button. "Oh yeah, Mark just hit that light button and Dipper can be released."

"Ok, that’s creepy." Mark muttered some other things but hit the button. I told him to do it, just to see if the tablet would operate for him. It did, and Dipper gave a sigh of relief when he was free.

"Look out, Bonnie's coming." Mike said with his head out of the door, looking down the hallway. Mark nodded and pressed the tablet's button that made Mike shut the door. He just sighed annoyed but kept his mouth shut. Hurray for that.

"This is going good so far." I said placing my hands on my hips. And of course that was dumb. Just as I had said that a weird blue light appeared in the ceiling and beamed down like a UFO. Everyone jumped away,  yelling swear words or something kinda amusing.

I moved forward and looked up to see what was causing the light. I didn't see anything in it.

"y/n stay away from that." Dipper cautioned me.  I nodded but still walked forward.  Funny how I listen huh?  I stepped into the spotlight slowly and stood as still as I could. Nothing happened.

"Miss, ya' Betta' be careful." Foxy had his back pressed up against the wall to avoid the light.  P/n looked at me expectantly, as if I knew what to do. Or like something was going to happen.

"This is the spotlight!" I sang and did a pose. They didn't get the reference,  but I didn't care.

"Are you the one doing this creepy thing?" Mark asked trying to roll away in the chair. Dipper held him back.

"Uhh,  no. " I answered. And as soon as I did a light grew brighter and I started feeling lightheaded. Dipper panicked and ran over to me,  but the light wouldn't let him pass. Like a glass sheild, he pounded on it trying to get to me. Mark got up and tried to help. Foxy scratched and clawed but even that had no affect.

I felt me feet leave the ground and I looked down. I was slowly rising up into the light. "Ahhhhhh,  what the heck!" I screamed and tried reaching out for Dipper. He did the same but to no avail.

"Don't go!" He shouted but I couldn't stop from going to the light. Oh my god i better not be dying. Not again, first was the worse and I don't think second would be the best.

"I don't know how!" I yelled to him. Then all I seen was white.

I felt bodyless floating in space.  Not the first time I've felt this way, so I wasn't as surprised. But I didn't know what I was doing here. I couldn't say anything, move or do anything. But I heard voices. Dipper's voice. I hear it,  but I can't tell what he's saying.

I can hear them all,  talking. Screams shouts and arguing.  I hear a thumping noise and an alarm. Dipper yelled and Mark yelled something back. Mike yelled everything he said. Foxy was quite.

After what seemed like hours of this,  mind breaking hours, the sound of a bell rang out all around me shaking my entire being.  Weird weird weird!  Then a bright blue light engulfed me again. Great, what's happening now? Where am I going this time spotlight?

The light disappeared and I seen I was back at the night guards office. "The fuck just happened!?" Mike yelled. I noticed that his name tag was gone. So was everyone else's. The night was over. Stupid,  I missed everything. What the hay!

"Are you OK y/n?" Dipper ran to me and picked me up.  I nodded rubbing my head.  "what happened?" I asked.

"after you disappeared in that weird glowy lighty thingy the animatronics went full ham on us." Mark explained. I nodded and looked up at the ceiling. There was no sign that a light was there.

"I wanna go home." I laid my head on Dipper's shoulder. He rubbed my arm in a side hug and nodded.

"Me to. Do your power magic stuff and send me home. There's no place like home,  there's no place like home, there's no place like home. " Mark tapped his feet.  I laughed and nodded. "Maybe the tablet can. "

"well,  I don't need that stupid thing to get outta here. " Mike grabbed his coat and angerly put it on. "I'm going home and drinking until I forget this night." He paused and looked at Foxy who stood behind me and Dip. "Come on fox."

Foxy gave me a hug from behind. "see ya' lass." I hugged him back and said goodbye. P/n rubbed his head on his metal hand to say goodbye. Foxy left fallowing behind Mike.

Mark was messing with the tablet. "let me go home now thank you!" He shook it hoping to have some effect. It didn't. "Mark, y/n can send you home herself if that's not working." Dipper said. I nodded.

"Great. Send me home!" He set the tablet down. I waved my hand in front of him and his image flickered like a TV screen then the tablet did it's whole floating with sparks. A blinding light later, seem to be having alot of those, Mark was gone.

"you think he'll remember what happened here?" Dipper asked as we turned around the face the back wall. I nodded. "yeah,  but he'd probably think it's just a dream."

"Messed up dream." He chuckled. I snapped and the portal opened up on the wall.  It would appear in my room on the other side. P/n jumped in first leaving me and Dips.

"Where did you go in that light?" He asked. I shrugged.  "I dunno. Someplace with no matter and just bleak white everywhere."

We walked in the portal,  carrying on our conversation to the other side.

"It was weird. I don't look forward to that again."

"Maybe it had something to do with Mark." Dipper shrugged. P/n was laying in his bed we'd gotten for him. It was fluffy. "That only appeared after he came."

"True. Let's talk more about it later." I opened my door, p/n immediately lifting his head up. Can't go anywhere without him.

"We gotta check on Mabel and Pacifica." We left my room and headed to the Mystery Shack. But I cpuldnt stop thinking about the game.  What other new players could I unlock?

Sorry this was late. Very late, but Markiplier has appeared!

Isn't that the Irish guy you love so much?

No,  that's Jacksepticeye. Mark is a different gamer. But that gave me an idea,  thank you.

You are so very welcome. What did I do? Tell me so I don't do it again. I rather not help you.

OK that moment ended. Well,  see you guys later in the next chapter!  Bye!
~Morning

See you all in your nightmares.
