Getting inside the mansion was fine, easy since we knew where the hidden secret passageways were. Ursa Dip was impressed with that, but finding one person in this maze of a building was difficult. We checked the rooms, the hallways, the dining room, everywhere. We almost got caught by servant, and even a female version of Pacifica’s dad, Pristine. Still an asshole, in cause you were wondering.

“I don’t get it,” Pacifica threw her arms up in defeat. We were inside the walls again, creeping through some passageways. “Those were all the places I’d usually be, so where is he?”

“Why are we going off of the places you’d be?” Ursa Dip asked from behind me. We still didn't tell her where we are from, but that's all part of the fun of being in a world were no one knows you. Well, doesn’t know you exactly.

“She um, used to be very close to this Patrick. Almost the same person, one might say.” I chuckled, knowing the deeper actual meaning of that last part, while Ursa Dip was still confused. “Oh. But then why didn’t we come through the front door if they knew each other?”

“We left on bad terms, me and his parents.” Pacifica quickly answered. “So, figured say hi without the drama.”

I knew she didn’t want to get caught, it must have been fear of actually getting caught by her parents. Even if these weren’t them.

“What about that secret room behind the painting?” Ursa Dip jumped, excited she had a solution we hadn’t thought of yet. “Oh yeah, that’s the one with all the bad stuff from your,” I quickly stopped myself and covered up, “Uh I mean, his family! All those paintings and stuff.” That seemed to cover up my mistake for Ursa Dip.

We found the place, Pacifica knew very well where it was, and it looked almost exactly the same. Gender swapped in the pictures, but besides that it was a mirror image. Only one small thing was different. The young blond haired boy that was digging through some boxes.

“Patrick?” Ursa Dip asked silently. The boy, who’s back was turned to us, perked up and quickly shoved the item back deeper into the box. He quickly turned around on his heels to face us. The resemblance was almost uncanny. Same hair with bangs, just his was shorter. Same facial features just more masculine, and same purple styled of clothing.

Pacifica stood mouth gaped open a little her eyes fixated on the boy. I snickered at her reaction.

“Dipper?” He asked taking a few steps forward. He looked at us then his eyes focused on Pacifica. He tilted his head, “You look familiar have I seen you before?”

I shook my head yes, seeing that Pacifica herself couldn’t answer. “Yeah, She was your childhood friend remember?” Patrick shook his head at my response and that gave Pacifica enough time to wrap her mind around this. “Uhh, Yeah. My name is Pacifica, we used to be best friends until something happened with your parents and I…. Then we lost touch for awhile.”

“I’m sorry, I don’t remember anything about you.” Patrick then raised an eyebrow as if he was starting to doubt our story.

“She kinda looks like Patrick, you know?” Ursa Dip told me as Pacifica began to feed him fake memories. I nodded, knowing why. “They could be like twins… you sure they aren’t like long lost siblings or something?”

I nodded. “Yeah, I’m pretty sure. If they were it’d surprise me.”

Patrick and Pacifica began to laugh and talk it out like they had been friends for years. So we let them be by looking around the room a bit. Everything was almost the same, save for the obvious differences in the pictures and stuff.
