Just as Kate and Josh got to the top of the mountain they felt the island shake again, this time it was permanent. Josh and Kate looked behind them and saw a massive wave crash down on top of them. Kate screamed and grabbed her husband and they were both taken by the wave down the mountain. They had been separated, and they were in pain. They had been cut by sticks, but still didn't give up.
They saw no sea creatures come in with the tsunami, but when it was over they were trying to climb on something above the water. With all Kate's strength, that she barely had, she managed to climb a rock and lay there to yell for her beloved husband, "Josh! Josh! Where are you?!" She yelled. Unfortunately there was no reply. Josh was not dead but was badly hurt. He had a broken leg and he had cuts all over his stomach. He also yelled for Kate, but there was no reply. They both lay there and tried to stay alive as the water started to go down. Six hours had passed and Kate searched for Josh and called for him. It took her a while, but she finally got to him.
When she heard his voice she started to cry, and ran towards him. Her brown hair knotted with sticks, and her clothes torn,
"You're alive! You're alive! I almost lost you!" She said as she hugged him tightly. "Kate, I'm so happy you're alright! What would I do without you?" He exclaimed as he kissed her on the cheek.
