Kate wrapped Josh's leg and gave him long sticks to use as crutches, and she treated his wounds. They had to walk slow since his leg was hurt, and they didn't get far.
"Honey what are we going to do?"
"I don't know beautiful, but we have to find shelter it's getting dark."
"Ok."
As they were looking for shelter Kate noticed the silence on the island and it started to make her anxious, but she ignored it, and kept walking with Josh.
Lightning lit up the sky, it was dark and they had settled down under a tree.
"Good night, love." Said Josh with a smile.
"Good night sweetie."
In the middle of the night thunder cracked across the sky, they could not sleep.
"Josh are you awake?"
"Yes."
"Do you think we'll ever get off of this island?" Said Kate. Josh thought for a minute then said "I don't know, but whatever happens I promise we'll be ok."
It was about eight o'clock when they woke up and the sun was shining, it looked like it would be a gorgeous day.
"It's so nice out." Kate exclaimed. Josh didn't hear her but said "We should probably go find the life boat and see if it's usable."
"Good idea! Let's go."
