As they paddled towards the island they were blinded of how gorgeous it was. Kate and Josh had never seen such a beautiful place. It was just as the legend described. It was as beautiful as heaven, clear fresh water, and as green as the trees. It had fruit growing everywhere, but be careful not all fruit is good to eat.
As soon as they set foot on the sand they lay on the ground and stared at the sky. "Josh we're alive!" Kate said as she held his hand.
"I promised!" Josh replied. They got up and gave each other a kiss and started to walk up the island to find shelter. Once they found shelter they searched for food. They had to be careful to pick the right fruit, some of the fruit was poisonous.
Out of nowhere the island shook. Josh and Kate were overwhelmed and frightened. They looked around but saw nothing. They were both curious. "I don't know what this is but we need to get to the top of the island right away!" Said Josh.
"Let's go!" Said Kate. They held each other's hands and ran straight for the highest mountain on the island. It took a while to climb. Once again they felt the island shake it had lasted longer that time.
While it was shaking Kate lost her grip and slipped! Josh acted quickly and grabbed her hand until the shaking was over and then he pulled her up. When he pulled her up she jumped right into his arms and said "Josh we have to get out of here!"
"I know, I know. We will, but we have to get to the top of this mountain. I love you." he said.
"I love you too."
It took hours of climbing and several breaks but they got up there, and then it happened.
