Again with my hands shoved in my pockets and my shoulders held high, I waited in the front of the mall.
This time, I managed to bring a jacket, but it really didnt help at all. I'm freezing and if we dont go somewhere warm, I'm going to through the most overdramatic temper tantrum Bolby has ever seen.
Ok, I'll just complain a bunch, but I'll make sure it gives him hell.
"Golbach, you showed!" He jogged over to me and had a cheeky smile plastered to his face. It warmed my heart that he seemed excited to see me. However, I'm still freezing so I dont care that much.
"Yeah, Yeah. I'm freezing. Lets get out of here already" I didnt mean to be irritable, but as said, I'm cold.
Plus, I wouldnt say standing in front of the mall is my favorite pass time, if I'm going to hang out then we better actually do something.
"Alright well, we're going to the abandoned building." He said as he intertwined our fingers and I shivered at his touch. His touch literally sent chills up my arm.
He wasnt wearing a jacket and he is literally freezing. How is he not complaining? I was about to complain about being cold, but he is literally freezing and not saying a word. If I complained I'd just seem like a wimp.
"Bolby, arent you cold?" I asked as we walked away from the mall. He swung our arms back and forth as we walked with our hands locked together.
He shrugged in response and I sighed before pulling my hand away from his still cold fingers and looking at him.
I think he's lying. His skin feels like ice. I understand not caring, but i feel like he actually will freeze to death.
When he tried to intertwine our fingers again, I shivered so he just let my hand go. He then held his hand to my cheek, which only made me shiver again. He laughed a little before holding onto my cheeks and squishing my face. I let him do that for a bit before I got so annoyed I pushed his hands away.
I'm seriously going to punch him. I'm cold enough as it is, I dont need that demon child to tease me about it.
"You cold?" He asked in a teasing manner. I looked at him and rolled my eyes over dramatically before playfully bumping into him.
"No, I'm sweating like a pig." I said sarcastically.
He laughed a little and bumped into me, I then playfully pushed him and he did the same.
"Stop Bolby. You're freezing!" I said as I bumped into him again.
"Then you stop bumping into me!" He laughed as he copied my actions.
His laugh was so cute. It was like music to my ears, I'd do anything to be able to hear his laugh every day for the rest of my life.
As we walked we kept purposefully bumping into each other. And passerby's looked at us like we were crazy, but we only continued doing what we were doing. Eventually it turned into him trying to step on my shoes and me avoiding that and in return trying to step on his.
As you could imagine, we looked like losers and at one point someone asked us what was wrong with us. We laughed before saying nothing and walking past them.
When we had finally gotten to our destination the playful attitude we both had was no longer there. It was serious all of a sudden. Once I remembered why he comes here I no longer felt like laughing.
I wonder why he wanted to come here? What was wrong? There has to be something wrong, he doesnt just come here for no reason. He comes her when hes upset, so something is up.
"Are you alright?" I asked as he made his way over to look at the pond.
He sighed before taking his beanie off, running his hands through his hair, and putting it back on.
"I guess" He shrugged.
Eventually he sat down, he slouched and rested his elbows on his knees as he lazily stared off at the stars in the pond.
He began to scratch at his skin a little. I know its because he's cold.
I sighed deeply before taking my jacket off. Giving it to him would be the nice thing to do, so thats what I'm going to do.
"It doesnt help much, but its something" I said as I set it on his lap. He looked down at it and furrowed his brows. His reaction made me smile. "What? You've never seen a jacket before?"
"Shut up, Golbach. I dont want it, you need it" he said as he ran his nails up and down his arm.
"I dont mind freezing if its for a good cause." I told him as I took the jacket and stuck it onto his shoulders.
"I dont want you to be cold." Being the stubborn ass he was he shrugged it off and shook his head.
"I'm already cold, Bolby. Take the jacket." I told him. "Pwease"
He sighed and picked the jacket up and half put it on.
"Happy?" He asked.
I frowned and zipped it up for him, then smiled and nodded.
"You're going to be cold now" he sighed.
I shrugged in response and the next thing I knew his arms were wrapped around me. I looked at him and his lips tugged upward.
"Now you wont be Cold" he whispered.
I smiled a little and scrunched up my nose.
"Eh, I'm still pretty cold" I told him.
He pretended to be offended, but had trouble being serious about it. When he started to laugh, it made me laugh.
But, Soon the room fell silent from all laughter and we began to just look at the pond. It was nice for a while. Just the two of us, his arms wrapped around me, and the pond that reflected the stars, which shined brighter than Colby's eyes.
It was nice, but it was all cut short as soon as we saw a flashlight shine around the pond. We ended up having to run out of the building and just like before he held onto my hand and didnt let me go for several blocks.
I didnt even think the police officer followed this time, but we ran anyway.
I didnt even get to find out why he was sad, but I'm glad that by the time we left he wasnt sad anymore.
