Zacks POV

I drove, and drove and drove. Being my fourth day here I had no fucking clue where I was going but I didn't care. I needed to get out of that house. Away from April.

I can't believe that I told her! It was an impulse of the moment type of thing. I told her it was only to make her feel guilty for treating me the way she did my first day but it wasn't that. Now she's more than likely to treat me like a king, being all polite all the time and shit like that. If it was under different circumstances I probably would have enjoy it, but now it would just piss me off even more.

I drove until I saw this little park area with a railed off cliff with water below it. I parked and got out of the car and walked to the water, shoving my hands into my pockets.

Being by water made me think of Carly and Jemma. The three of us used to go to the beach all the time. Well, when Jemma was old enough to actually go to the beach we went all the time.

Carly and I met on the beach. She was playing volleyball with a bunch of her friends and I was playing a game of football with a bunch of mine.

FLASHBACK***************

A volleyball hit me in the back of the head while I was covering one of my buddies from the other team.

"Owww! What the hell??" I shouted and rubbed the back of my head.

"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry! I didn't mean to! It was supposed to go the other way but I guess it didn't work out very well! I am so sorry." I girl apologized from behind me.

I turned around to pick up the ball and saw her. She was the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen in my life. Her dirty blonde hair cascaded down to her middle back, and her blue eyes sparkled with happiness. She was so beautiful.

"No, it's not a problem. What's your name?" I asked with my award winning smile.

"Carly, and you're Zack Landey." She said with a shy smile.

"How do you know my name and I don't know yours?" I asked curious.

"I moved here not to long ago, and you being popular and all, I've heard a lot about you." She said motioning to the girls she had been playing with.

I looked at who she was hanging out with and noticed that I've dated a few of the girls. Lets just say those relationships didnt work out in the end and those girls hated me.

"Ahhh." I said nodding my once.

"Yeah, so sorry again for hitting you with the ball." She apologized again.

She went to leave but I grabbed onto her forearm gently, "Wait! Would go out on a date with me?" I asked.

Carly seemed shocked. Her eyes got round and she didn't answer at first. I noticed that she glanced over at the girls who were giving us their full attention from far away.

But she smiled anyway and nodded, "Yeah. That would be nice. Umm, after school on Friday?"

I smiled as well, "Yeah, that would be great. See you then."

**********END OF FLASHBACK*******

I shook my head and leaned on the railing. I looked down and saw that it was a pretty far drop to the rocks below. I unleashed the years that were begging to fall. It was the only way I would be able to see Carly and Jemma again.

I climbed over the railing and held on for dear life as I looked down at the rocky water below. Tears streamed down my face as I closed my eyes. I didn't even hear the voice calling my name.

"Here I come Carly. I'm coming my babygirls." I whispered and let go.

Or at least I thought...
