Joeys' POV

Lenny had told me about that Zack kid, but most of the stuff I didn't believe until I heard it from Zack himself. Lenny also told me about the whole Carly and Jemma situation, and I wanted to know what Zack would do if I happend to mention it. I can see it was a very touchy subject, and I was surprised he didn't belt me like he did Lenny last night.

I knocked on the Nashs' door and Debbie answered it. When she saw it was me, she stood in the middle of the doorway and crossed her arms over her chest. "What do you want Joey?" I guess she still doesn't like me.

"I was wondering if I could speak with April?" Debbie let out a humorless laugh and said, "After what you did to her? I don't think so. Now get off my land and don't you dare come back." she demanded.

"With all due respect Mrs. Nash, this is really important, and I must speak to her right away."

"Whatever you have to say to my daughter you can say it to me."

Inwardly I rolled my eyes. Mother can be so over protective sometimes. Mine included. "Its about what happend last night. I trust that April told you what happend at the party, yes?" she gave me a nod and I continued, "Lenny is planning on getting revenge on your daughter and Zack. He was humiliated infront of everybody, and he wants payback. He will stop at nothing to get it." if Lenny ever found out I was telling Debbie this, he would have my balls in a sling.

"Why should I believe you Joey? You did nothing but lie to my daughter, why should I believe you now?" she asked.

"Because I still love your daughter, despite all the lies and I don't want to see her get hurt. And I figured that Zack has been through enough shit in his life, he doesn't have to go through this too."

Lenny was my best friend, had been ever since we were in second grade. But Lenny is spoiled, and uses blackmail to get what he wants. That mommy and daddy comment he used on Zack last night was a blow bellow the belt, but Lenny shouldn't even be talking. He calls daddy whenever he needs something like money, or infromation. Lennys dad is a huge lawyer, and used to work with Zacks dad. Little does Zack know that him and Lenny used to play with eachother when they were little kids. But that's how Lenny knows anything and everything about Zack. Because daddy told him.

My answer probably imprested Debbie, because she seemed to think about it really hard. "I'll pass the message on to April." even though I wanted to see April myself, I was glad that Debbie believed me.

"Thank you Mrs. Nash." she nodded and I started to walk away when, "Joey." I turned around to face Debbie. "Thank you for warning us. It means a lot to us, and I'll be sure to tell April the reason why." I gave her a nod and a smile and walked to my car.
