chapter 8

DWAYNES POV

Waking up, I could feel Emily's soft breath on my bare chest. The memory of the night before flooded my mind and warmed my heart. I actually made love with this incredible woman that I've actually fallen in love with. I never wanted this moment to end. I know i've only known this girl for a short time, and that we are two different species of people, but I knew that i wanted to spend the rest of my life with this girl. This woman was my soul mate. We were meant to meet.

After an hour of laying there in sweet bliss, I decided to get up and greet the day. Even though Emily and my self were hiding , didn't mean we had to act like it.

I jumped into the shower, humming to myself. I was in such a great mood, it was almost unbelievable.

As I: was drying off after my hot shower, there was a loud crash in the next room. I quickly wrap myself in a towel, and run out of the room. As I make it to the front room I see the fae guard dragging Emily behind them as they fly off.

"Noooooooooooo!" I scream. I cant believe this. They got her, I should of protected her better. This can't be happening. I needed to get her back. But how?

EMILY'S POV

Everything was perfect. Even though Dwayne and myself had to go into hiding because my fathers royals gaurd was after me, I couldnt help but feel blissful. I groaned when Dwayne had decided to get up to go take a shower. I wanted to cuddle with him some more.

I layed there, day dreaming of the events of the night before. As I listen to the shower turn off and Dwayne steped out of the shower, a loud crash happened before me. I spring up out of bed and before me was my fathers royal gaurd. They had found me. As I tried to make a run for it, the biggest of the gaurd grabs me by the waist, and holds tight. I'm suddenly pulled into the air and out of the safty of the cabin. As I'm being dragged away, I see Dwayne at the broken window of the cabin screaming after us. My heart felt for him as I was being stolen from him.

within a days time and a lot of magic, we make it back to the amazon. I'm instantly put in my willow tree home and locked In. Two of the gaurds stood outside as the rest of them went to get my father. I collapsed on to my bed and sobed into my pillow. I could not believe this was happening.

My father busted into my willow furiously. "how dare you run away like that.you bring shame to me and your people. Now its time to take responsibility. you will be marrying Nate in the morning."

I could not believe this he can't do this to me. I won't let him do this to me I refuse.

"but father. ......." "no emily I don't want to hear it. my word is law."

no this can't be. Dwayne, my love find your way to me.
