CHAPTER 5
DWAYNES POV
When I came too, I was on my back on the roof of my apartment building. Seeing how it was still dark out, I mustnt \
been out too long. Slowly sitting up, I remembered how i ended up on the ground. The ball of light, that hit me
square in the face.
"What the @#!*% was that?" I woundered out loud. I looked around to see if iI could manage to figure out what hit me.
In the far corner, on my left, there was a small glowing ball laying on the ground. I slowly get to my feet and walk twords it. curiosity and
fear filled me. This small light had knocked me unconcious, I had to know what it was.
When I reached 5 feet from the light I dropped to my knees. I stared for a couple of minutes, woundering what to do.
Then I reached my hand out to the light to see if I could grab at it.
Inches away, I heard a shriek. I stop cold in the position I was in.
"What the @#!*% ?" Did the freaky ball of light just shriek at me? That couldnt be possible.
I went to reach for the light again, and again it shrieked. "WHAT!?" I fell backwards on my back slightly shaken. That light actually shriecked at me.
Breathing heavily I lean forward twords the light, "Hello?"
"Hello?" sqeeked a small voice coming from the light. -omg the light just spoke to me. Am i going batshit crazy?"- I paniced.
This was not happening. I'm sleep deprived, an i'm halussinating. Yea thats what it is.
"Please don't hurt me." sqeeked the light. -Did the light just ask me not to hurt it? weird.-
'Did you just speak to me?" I asked the light.
"Yes." was its reply. I sat there for a moment thinking.
"What are you?" i asked in wounder.
"Im a fae."
A fae? as in a faery holy @#!*% this little ball of light is a faery. Im so losing my mind.
Before me, the light ball grew brighter and bigger. After a few moments the light dimmed and there before me was the most beutiful woman i've ever laid eyes on it. Much to my disbelief she also had wings on her back.
-Holy @#!*% she is a faery. @#!*% shes hott.- my mind raced. This was unbelievable.
"Who are you?" I asked
"I'm Emily, princess of the fae people.Who are you?" she responded
"I'm Dwayne, of New York city." i replied.
