-How do you think, she looks like?
-I have no idea, Sunshine.
They were at one of the terminals, at the airport, waiting for Judith to disembark from the plane, that had just landed.
-Maybe she's got his eyes?- Bob said, looking around.
-Maybe...- Corrina nodded, frowning and standing on her toes, to take a better look at the sea of nameless people, crowding the place.
-Do you remember, what she told you about herself? -the boy asked and took the girl's hand, squeezing it.
Corrina frowned once again and closed her eyes, trying to recall the whole conversation.
-She said... She said, she's red-headed and rather tall... I know, she often wears black and...
-There you are!- they heard a soft, warm voice, that clearly belonged to a young woman.
They turned their heads to the right and immediately knew, that she was Mr. Bennett's graunddaughter. She was tall and rather curvy, with bright orange hair, flowing down her breasts. Her eyes were dark brown and held the same amount of love, happiness and sadness, as her grandfather's. She had plump, raspberry lips and a small nose. Corrina noticed a few freckles on her cheeks. Judith was dressed in black boots, black jeans and a black coat. She held a small suitcase in her hand.
-I'm glad you described yourself to me- she said and smiled. -I'm not sure, if I'd recognise you two... Oh, I'm Judith March, please call me Judy- she extended her hand and they both shook it.
-Glad to meet you. I'm Bob Dylan and this is Corrina Wise- Bob said, gesturing to his girlfriend.
Corrina smiled.
-Let's go, shall we?- she said and the three of them headed to the exit. Bob wanted to call a taxi, since they had a guest, but Judith told him not to.
-I know what it means, to be a young couple in love- she laughed. -You don't need to eat, or sleep. The Love keeps you alive. Let's take a bus. I haven't been on one for a long time.
They arrived at Corrina's flat two hours later, since it wasn't very far from the airport. She showed Judith around and told her, that she could stay there, for as long as she wants.
-Thank you. You have no idea, how much it means to me- Judith said and smiled.
-No problem. Maybe it's not the biggest place on Earth, but that's all I can do for you and Mr. Bennett.
They went to the kitchen and sat at the table, where Bob put their cups of tea.
-Okay, so here are the keys. The rent and all the bills are paid, so if you receive strange calls about not paying, just ignore them. Yeah, that happens sometimes- she nodded, when the woman raised her eyebrows. -I leave it all at your disposal. If you'd need something, just call. The number is right next to the telephone. I also wrote down the directions to the nearest grocery stores and cafes and to the hospital.
-Wait... And where're you gonna live?- Judith asked, frowning.
-I'm staying at Bob's right now. This place is too small for both of us and I don't even have a spare bedroom.
-And you trust me? We've just met. You're not afraid I might not be telling the truth?
-You're not lying. I'm sure of it- Corrina smiled, delicately.
-How?
-I can see it in your eyes.
They said their goodbyes and the couple headed to Bob's flat. The three of them decided to visit Mr. Bennett the next morning. Judith wanted to go to the hospital, right away, but they convinced her, that she needed to get some rest, first. It was a long journey, after all.
-And?- Bob asked, when they sat on his sofa.
-And what?- Corrina asked and laid her head on his shoulder.
-What do you think about Judy?- he kissed her forehead and hugged her.
-She's really nice. I'm glad she decided to come. I hope Mr. Bennett'll be happy- she said, worriedly.
-He'll be on a cloud nine- Bob ruffled her hair. -"If he ever wakes up"- he thought, frowning.
He felt a pair of soft lips against his neck and a hot breath, caressing his cheek. His own breath hitched in his throat and he closed his eyes, trying to suppress a moan. Corrina started to delicately kiss his collarbones and roam her palms around his chest.
-"God, if she's gonna keep on doing that, I'm not sure, if I'll be able to wait, anymore"- he thought and quickly took her hands in his, making her look at him.
-Is there something wrong?- she asked, confused.
Bob sighed and looked down, gathering his thoughts. He loved her. He wanted her. But he promised her to wait. He wanted to make this night special for them. He wanted to make love to her. He never cared about the meaningless one-night stands. God! This was so hard!
-I-I- he stuttered. -It's just...
-Yes?- she caressed his cheek.
-I want you- his eyes were full of lust, that scared Corrina, a bit.
He needed to kiss her. Needed to feel her soft lips, once again. He leaned in, wanting to capture her mouth. To savor her sweetness. To feel her warmth, against his body.
-"What am I doing?"- their faces were only a few inches apart. -"I can't do this to her. I love her."
He stopped, abruptly. Different emotions flashed through his eyes. Lust, sadness, fear, anger, love, softness. He didn't want to hurt her.
-I'm sorry, baby- he said. -We... I can't do it like that. I love you, too much. I want to make our first time, special.
-Bob...
-I don't want you to think, that I'm not attracted to you, or anything. If you weren't so dear to me, I'd probably take here and now, but...
She put a finger to his mouth and smiled.
-Thank you- she whispered, looking into his confused eyes. -You have no idea, how much it means to me. I know, I'm not fair. Kissing you like that, sending mixed signals. It's just... I want you, to make love to me. Right now. On this couch. But... I also want to wait, for the right time. I was thinking about you and me, us. I-I... I know I love you. More than my own life. More than this whole world, full of faceless people, that haunt our dreams and reality. I'd go through fire and water for you. My whole life, I felt like I didn't belong anywhere. Meeting you... It changed me. Now I know my place. It's right beside you. Till the end of my days.
Bob looked at her. Right now, it seemed to him, that she grew and brightened. She wasn't fragile, anymore. She held the world in her hand and nothing could ever touch her. He took her face in his hands and kissed her passionately. He wanted to show her, that he cared, loved her, that everything was going to be all right. He wanted her to know, that he was going to be there for her, for the rest of his life, that he was going to protect her from the storms, wars, floods and even death. Because she was the only one, that made his life complete. And she understood him, without words.
A/N: This one is even shorter, than the last chapter, but I'm not sure what to write (yet). I still gotta decide what's gonna happen with Mr. Bennett... :/
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it and sorry for that crappy love confession. I just want you to know, that their love for them is sacred. They don't care about anything else. Love is all that matters.
Thank you very much for reading and voting! If you've got any questions, or ideas, just post a comment, or message me :)
