After my dad died I took it pretty hard, I never got out of the house and spent most of my time in bed.
So one day my mom and my Helen forced me out of the house to go to a movie because it was "unhealthy" for me to keep myself looked in my room (yes there was a time when my mom actually had a heart and cared about me) they had already bought the ticket for a movie.
They forced me out of bed and tried to force me to wear "proper clothes" but tell me what's not proper about sweatpants? I know right? Right?
Sorry anyway so yeah I went in my sweatpants with a huge tee shirt that said something about cookies. They dropped me at the parking of the movie theater, the movie was at 6:30 and it was like 6:00 so I had half an hour.
I rolled my eyes because I knew she dropped me early on purpose so I would "socialize" psssh yeah right.
I wasn't going in the movie theater no damn way; too many people. I was planning on going to the public library and just sitting there reading a book with no one around. yeah that sounded good.
I decided to stand there in the parking for 15 minutes just to make sure that mom wasn't spying on me.
But god it was really hot there even though it was towards the evening.
I was just looking around and I realized that I still had the ticket and I didn't want it to go to waste plus I needed proof to show that I went for the movie so that my mom won't worry, she already had enough on her plate without me adding more.
So I decided to look for someone who needed a ticket and tell him/her to give it back after the show so it would have the hole punched on it.
I went towards the ticket counter and saw a group of teenagers who looked like a year or two older than me. There were four girls and two boys.
The blonde girl got the tickets. "Seven tickets please." I heard her say. "One for Paul, one for you Jill" she handed the tickets to her friends and the guy behind the counter was like "Sorry that's it." when he finished handing them six tickets. "We're sold out now."
She groaned, "Already?"
Cha Ching. I smiled. Is it fate or is it fate?
but I couldn't understand why they needed seven tickets as there were only six of them.
Beats me I shrugged.
I went up to them and the girl who I knew was Jill (because blonde girl said so while giving her the ticket) just eyed me like she was disgusted by me.
But who could blame her? I had my greasy hair up in a loose bun I was wearing a t shirt which was too big for me and I had sweat pants on, while they were in their skirts and tight shirt and flawless hair.
"Um... did you say you need an extra ticket?" I asked and she was about to open her mouth but suddenly I heard a voice behind me and I heard a guy panting.
"Sorry I'm late I got lost." He said and I went weak in the knees. His voice was low and sexy like boys try to make when they are flirting with you, but all he said was sorry I'm late I got lost and it sounded incredibly hot.
"Who is she?" he asked referring to me not in a disgusted or pitiful voice that everyone talked to me with nowadays but with genuine curiosity.
And the blonde girl introduced me to him.
"Uh... this is Neil and he is new here so we decided to show him around and well they're all sold out and you said something about a ticket didn't you?"I nodded.
