Chapter 4: "You think you're bad. What did you do? Steal a little boys bike?"

Amelia's P.O.V

"Hello...Officers?" I say, waving to them timidly then quickly putting my hand down seeing their angry features on their faces

"Are you Amelia Dilaurentis?" asks the big scary guy, looking down on me

"Yes? Is there a problem?" I question

"Indeed there is a problem" remarks the man, fishing out handcuffs and grabbing me forward. Officer no. 1 spins me around and quickly ties my hand. I see the rest of the guys walking up to the door, Carter at the front.

"Erm excuse me?!" exclaims Carter, "I would like to know why you're handcuffing my girlfriend-"

"So you must be Carter Lawson" interrupts Officer no. 2

"Yes I am!" shouts Carter, "Now let her go, before I fucking punch you!" he seethes

Damn it Carter, you knucklehead! Not a way to talk to people, working with the law!

"Put your hands up right now" orders the Officer, reaching out for his gun and directing it towards Carter

Obediently all of them put their hands up in surrender, not just Carter.

"You're under arrest for theft" spits the Officer, already handcuffing Carter, "You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law"

"W-What?" chokes Carter

Bree, Liam and Tom all stare at us wide-eyed, their mouths opening and closing.

"We did no such thing!" I mutter under my breath as the police officer pulls me down the corridor.

Me and Carter remain silent knowing its for the best. We know we didn't do anything wrong and its not like I'm scared anyways.

The guys pushes my head down, so I can get into the vehicle.

"Hey don't stress" says Carter, who's sitting next to me

"Don't worry, I'm not" I murmur, "Its not the first time I've been accused of something I didn't do"

Carter tilts his head to me, "What do you mean?" he questions, keeping his voice low so the Officers don't hear.

"Doesn't matter" I grumble, gazing out the window.

-

We've finally arrived at the police station and they put me and Carter in different cells. We knew that we would get our turn to speak, so we didn't argue.

They've taken off my handcuffs and now I'm sitting on the floor staring at the grey wall. God it feels so weird being back here.

I thought I was meant to change. And here I am...in a cell.

It's actually very cold as well. I sit on the back-breaking bed playing with my fingers. They'll question us soon enough and I want that over and done with! Even though I've only been here for 10 minutes, I'm bored out of my mind!

-

I wake up to some shouting and some rustling. I rub my eyes and stand up, stretching.

Remind me to NEVER sleep on that bed again! I would rather just sleep on the floor.
