Chapter 17: '1) I would totally cuss them back'
Harry's P.O.V
I rush up the stairs, taking two at a time. I sprint down the corridor, finally reaching the end. I look up and down the corridor in confusion and then I realise I passed it. Oh for the love of...
I run back down the corridor, eventually stopping at the correct door. I rapidly knock against their door and what seems like minutes, I finally face something that made me want to puke.
Amelia leans against the door amused, but not until she sees my hand. Her eyebrows furrow in worry, "Harry what's wrong with your hand? Why is it bleeding?"
I ignore her, making her annoyed. I glare right past her and onto the floor. I then look up at her to see her sending me a sheepish smile.
"Why is there a fucking dead body in your flat?!" I point out, obviously shocked. My mouth gapes at the lying human in front of the door.
"I asked you first" she shrugs simply
I give her a are-you-serious look. "I think this" I say, pointing to the man. "Is more important than my bleeding knuckles" I deadpan, rolling my eyes. "And are you actually being serious? What if it wasn't me who turned up? You don't leave a dead body in front of your damn door way"
This time it was her turn to roll her eyes. "Take a chill pill Harold. He's only unconscious"
"That still doesn't explain why there's-" Before I could even finish what I was saying, I take a step towards the body and see he looks oddly familiar. Just then Bree comes out as well, standing a few feet away from me. I crouch down and inspect his wounds. I then turn around and grin at Amelia. "A scissor-kick right on his jaw"
Amelia smiles smugly at me, folding her arms.
Gosh I've never seen a girl act so cocky...it's actually attractive
Bree gapes at me, "How did you know that?"
"I know my stuff" I reply with a wink. I then mask my face, trying to be serious. "This still doesn't explain why Kian is here"
"Kian?" the two reply at the same time
"Long story" I say, waving them off.
It's actually not, but I don't want to tell them he's in Blaze's gang!
The pair cross their arms, raising their eyebrows.
"You guys can't brow-beat me you know?" I huff, "I'm too experienced for that"
Both of them suspiciously approach me, making me quickly change the subject.
"Why did you open the doors?" I demand, annoyed that they weren't giving me answers.
"Well..." starts Bree. Just as she was going to speak Amelia cuts in.
"Long story" she says, sweetly
I glare at her and she smiles at me. I walk towards her, cornering her. I take in her breath-taking features, doing everything I can not to grab her and kiss her.
"Nice try" I say, not humoured
She shrugs at me, with a challenging smile.
"Do you have to be so damn difficult all the time?" I mutter, in her ear placing one hand on the wall.
She inhales sharply and I swear I can hear her heartbeat pounding through her chest.
Or...it's probably me...
