Chapter 6: "What's your problem Darth Vader?"

Amelia's P.O.V

I slouch on the sofa, shoving popcorn into my mouth averting my attention to the screen.

"Okay" mumbles Carter, reaching for the popcorn, "Don't hog it!"

I pull away from him, grunting. "It's mine, don't touch it"

"Actually its OURS" he states, coming to sit on me

"Get off me" I grumble

"No"

"Carter get the hell off me!" I shout, glaring at him, "I'm trying to watch the damn film"

"Amelia" he says softly, hovering above me and bending down to look into my eyes.

"What do you want?!" I mutter

His hand caresses my face and his thumb strokes my chin, lifting it up to look at him.

"I'm sorry okay?" he whispers, leaning in even more so our lips are centimetres apart.

After he 'dramatically' slammed the door and left, I sank into the sofa letting the tears fall. I'm not crying about Carter, I'm crying about everything.

I was calmly watching a film, until he came back 10 minutes ago smelling like beer and now he tries to eat my popcorn. I can tell he's still sober though.

I lean away, creating more space between us.

"Please get off me" I say quietly, avoiding his gaze, placing more popcorn in my mouth.

He sighs, taking my chin in his hand lifting it up, "I didn't mean to shout at you" he says more firmly, "And I'm sorry"

"It doesn't matter"

He moves closer, so he's straddling my waist but not exactly sitting on me. He buries his face into my neck, letting my feel his breath tickling me. He grazes his lips up and down my neck, kissing it occasionally.

"Please don't be mad" he whines, "I sort of lashed out and that was totally wrong of me"

I sigh, doing everything not to roll my eyes. I guess he was right. Austin was there with me throughout everything.

"I deserved it" I sigh finally

"No you didn't" he insists, "I shouldn't have shouted"

"Uhh obviously" I scoff, making him roll his eyes.

"Can you be serious for once?" he asks in annoyance

"I'm always serious " I say, slightly grinning

"Right whatever" mumbles Carter, lifting his head off my shoulder and coming to face me

"As I was saying..." I sigh, "I'll do it"

"You'll do it?" he asks, shocked

"...Yeah" I say hesitantly, "It's for my brother"

He smiles taking my hand and leaning in forward. He kisses me softly on my lips, as my hands get placed on his shoulders.

"We cool?" He smiles, resting his forhead on mine

"We cool" I grin

"Oi Dilaurentis" booms a voice, "You better start scrubbing off that graffiti before I make you stay here for another two weeks!"

I spin on my heel sharply facing him with a dirty look. The guy with the clipboard looks at me disapprovingly and I give him one of my best bitter smiles.
