Chapter 21: 'We the ladliest, lads around'
Amelia's P.O.V
"Pass the ketchup packets love" mumbles Harry, chips spitting out of his mouth
"Can you at least have some decency?" I huff, throwing him a few. "We're not at home"
He shrugs carelessly and rips open the packet with his teeth. He then drowns his burger in ketchup, adding a few chips in. He then shakes some pepper and places the bun back on the burger. "Ahh" he sighs, "Now that's how I like it"
"And people call me fat" I point out, licking the mayonnaise off my fingers.
"Well you do eat like a pig" he reasons, making me throw the nearest thing to him (which was a tissue)
"I can't believe this didn't turn out like it was supposed to" I sigh, slumping in my seat
"Could've gone worse" he shrugs, his voice muffled due to all the food.
I then smirk at what Harry did earlier, "I still can't believe you-"
Hold up a second...maybe I should go back a few hours...
*2 HOURS EARLIER*
"Whatever you do, don't open your mouth do you understand?" I hiss at Harry as we walk into the Dining room
Harry shrugs not bothered, "Fine by me"
We take our seat at the table and once we're all settled, few of the maids bring us our food. I smile polietly at them.
"You're going to love this guys. I told Harriet to make your favourite" says my mum
Ahh so my mum wasn't actaully the one making the food. Of course not. She doesn't do jack around the house. She pays someone else to do everything for her. I grit my teeth. She can't even be bothered to cook for us?! All of her kids are finally gathered at one table yet she can't be bothered to cook? Just as I was about to bite her face off, I feel a hand on my thigh. I look down in surprise and see Harry rubbing smooth circles across my skin. I glance up and see him giving me a look to calm down.
"Harriet?" asks Austin
"Oh didn't we tell you?" says my mother, "We had to fire Margret"
"Why?" I ask
"Because we found her stealing my clothes!" she says, in disgust. She then stabs her fork into the meat. "Like we didn't pay her enough" she mutters
I look up at Blake to see if this story was true and he simply rolls his eyes and shakes his head.
"Well" starts my mother again, making everyone groan. "I just want to say that I'm so happy that we're back as a family again. I know my three kids have been working so hard and I just want to say I'm so proud of you" says my mum, placing a hand to her heart.
My Dad raises his wine glass, "To the Dilaurentis boys and girl" says my father, sending me a fake smile.
I smile back just as fake as his and raise my glass.
"Cheers" we all say, clinking glasses.
"Oh this is the perfect time to reminisce" gushes my mum. "I remember when Austin was just a toddler, he would never tell me when he wants to go to the toilet"
Oh Lord, where the heck is this going?
"And he would always wet his bed. Every night I would have to wake up to his crying because his bed always felt too wet to sleep on." says my mum, cracking a smile.
