Ariel's POV
We arrived France a few hours ago and we are currently in the tour bus. I was in my bunk while the boys were in the game room. I got a call from by best friend.
"Hey Jordan" I said
"Hey Ari, What you up to?" He asked
"Writing music and touring"
"Oh, Who you touring with this time?"
"One Direction"
"Wait isn't that Niall kid in the band?" He asked
"Yeah, but it been alright so far" I said trying to clam him down
"You know I don't like him."
" I know, but I signed a contract and its not that bad... look it pretty late over here" I said trailing off
"Alright babe I'll call you tomorrow goodnight. I love you" He said
"Alright goodnight. I love you too" I said before I hung up.
I turn around to find an angry Niall sitting on his bunk. his face was red, he looked like he was going to cry.
"Hey, Niall, what's wrong" I said siting next to him on the bunk
"Like you don't know" He snapped
"Seriously what's wrong"
" I heard your conversation with your boyfriend. Answer one question... Would you be here if it wasn't for the contract?'' He asked
"Yes, I would Niall. and his not my boyfriend." I said honestly
"Wow you really are good at lying."
"Niall stop! I'm telling you the truth! But now I'm not so sure I want to stay Niall. Why are you acting like this!" I snapped
"Maybe it's because I'm done with your lies."
"Whatever Niall." I said giving up
"Maybe that's the reason I bullied you 'cause your a lying bitch. You know what, I don't regret what I do to you... you deserved it!" He yelled. I was done. I slapped across the face
"To think that I thought that you change, that you actually cared." I said before walking to the front of the bus.
I sat there for while. I thought Niall changed. I hate that I was falling for him but today stop myself from doing it and realized people like Niall change. Season will come and go he will never change.
Tears streamed down my face. images of my mother flashed thru my mind. Her perfect brown curly hair. everything about her was perfect. I remember one day when I came home from school crying because I failed an exam and I felt dumb.
Flash back
"Valentina" She said hugging me and walking me towards a mirror " What you see?" She asked
"I see me" I answered
"look closely" She said
"I see a dumb, worthless girl." I said with tears in my eyes
"Are you sure?" She asked. I nodded.
"Now, let me tell you what I see" She said, " I see girl that has lost a tiny worthless battle in the war of life. I see her strength and know she'll get up and fight. I see a smart, beautiful, priceless little girl that will grow up strong, beautiful and successful women" She said kissing my forehead and said "sometimes we fail darling but we have to stand up an try again. We Scotts' fight to the finish" She said with a smile on her face that made me smile as well.
"I love you, mummy"
"I love you too, Ariel"
