Both demigod Camps are against an unknown enemy. Nico and a certain daughter of Hephaestus are not on the best terms with each other, but soon, their friendship starts blooming and growing due to the unfolding events.
Who is this new enemy? What's...
Y/N was grateful. She never thought that Nico, Nico Di Angelo, would be a person to take her to the beach when she felt down. She still hated the guy. He got on her nerves most of the time and teased her. So, who was this person? Walking in front of her with his hair being blown back by the warm summer breeze, revealing that mysterious face of his.
She could tell that Nico was in there somewhere. Behind those deep, dark obsidian eyes, she knew that Nico was hiding. So why won't he come out?
She saw him take something out of his pocket and toss it to her. "It's good," he said "It relieves stress." She gave him a quizzical look but he didn't look away. His pale face was sincere.
She opened the bottle and smelled it. It stank. She shut her eyes tight and moved the bottle away from her face. He chuckled. "Now that won't help." He said walking towards her and taking the bottle in his hands. He held the back of her head, "Close your nose." He said, still trying to contain his soft laughter and smiling at her.
She huffed but parted her lips and moved toward the bottle. Nico saw this as a chance, and moved forward, pasting his cold rough lips, to her warm and soft ones, gently running his fingers through her silky hair.
A few moments after, he slowly pulled back, but wished he hadn't.
The expression on her face clarified it all. She loathed him, and that was the end of it. She was shocked, disgusted, angry, embarrassed... She slapped him flat on the face, giving him a red mark, with a sickening sound echoing in the empty space. "Sorry," he whispered. "That was unnecessary."
Paralyzed, she watched as his sulking figure retreated off the sandy beach and dropping the bottle mid-way on his track towards the forest.
Y/N's eyes soaked with tears once again, as she saw the opportunity of a possibly blooming friendship fading away.
Her hand was throbbing. She made her way to the bottle and gulped the whole thing.
Seconds later, she felt dizzy, and without a clue. She felt her consciousness slowly slipping away, and cursed the Son of Hades before being dragged into the darkness.
