Having Y/N this close to him made Nico strangely comfortable and calm. Her breathing was so slow and steady against his cold neck, it made him shiver.

He moved to the side a bit, but she just ended up falling into his lap. His cheeks filled with warmth, and he had a fuzzy feeling in his stomach. He played with her braid, and noticed that it gave off a soft yellow light. He realized this was the spell Piper had put on it.

He then traced his fingers down her face and her neck. She was cold.
He took off his jacket as slowly as he could, making sure not to wake her up, and covered her bare arms with it. He gave her a ghostly kiss and slowly put her sleeping body aside, getting up to scout the perimeter.

"You think they kissed?" Reyna wondered, amused at her dirty thoughts about her friends.
Percy laughed hysterically "Ooh yeah, " he said pursing his lips together. "I think that it got to the point where they already had an intense make-out session."
It was Reyna's turn to laugh, "Really? You think they'd go that far?"
"Of course! They loved each other from the start! They just didn't know it!"

They both laughed and looked down, calming themselves. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn't hide their worry for their friends. "You think they'll survive?" Asked Reyna, almost on the brink of tears.
"Of course! I'm positive they'll make it! They... They have to!" Yelled Percy, who was trembling.

They were both at camp, waiting for all the other groups to make it back safely, sitting by the beach, and trying to calm Percy's nerves. That did the exact opposite, though, and soon enough, a whole wall of lake water had drenched them.

"I'm sorry." Said Percy to Reyna.
"It's okay, but don't dry me." She said as he was about to, "This is soothing."
"Then I'll stay like this too. It's unfair anyway." He gave her a small smile and she returned it.
"They'll come back." He said, leaning on his hands behind his back. His gaze focused on the sunset.
"You'll see."
