I don't know exactly when or how

But I fell in love with you

You swept me off my feet

I lost my steady footing

Fell off the edge

I fell slowly

Hit the ground hard

Found you waiting

It was beautiful

Peaceful

Safe

We stayed there

In love

For so long

Then one day

I found you

Gone

Suddenly love became despair

Dark

Dangerous

Unknown

I tried to climb out

But kept falling down

I broke my body and my mind

The darkness was overwhelming

I wanted it to end

I couldn't find anyone

No one could help me

Pull me out of this

Pit of despair

I couldn't escape

Kept climbing out

Kept falling down

One day

Someone will pull me out

I will escape

And then

It will start over again
