Nikki's P.O.V
The day's almost over and we're in P.E now. The gym is outside by the parking lot. It's our last class of the day so we all have our bookbags, jackets and phones. We're playing dodge ball, Shane and I are doing a pretty good job at not getting hit. The good news is The Hawks, the team against us, have only five players left, same with The Eagles, our team. The bad news is, The Tripod of Terror is on their side and I don't think they've forgotten about this morning. Shane and I are standing side by side next to each other. I say," you do know they're gonna aim for us right?". Shane snorts and says," please, Nikki, as if, they don't wanna ruin they're dumb ass manicure". I laugh but then I stop. One of my headaches is coming. I pinch my eyes close and rub my forehead. Shane sees and says,"you about to blackout? Want me to take you to the nurse?". Shane knows about my blackouts, so do all of my teachers, classmates, and my principle. I rub my forehead one more time then I stop and say," nah,I'll be fine". He looks wary but nods ok. He picks up a ball and throws it, I do the same, we get two people out and two of them are Evelyn and another one named Sadie. The only two people left are Madison and Kaitlyn. I aim my ball straight for Madison's stuffed up tissue bra. I hit my target head on. Madison lets out a scream of fury and walks over to the bleachers. I laugh and say,"that's what she gets for flaunting her ass". Shane laughs and says," so true". We fist bump. Suddenly black spots appear infront of my eyes, my headache is even worse, I let out a whimper and say," Shane, I think I'm about to-" my body falls onto the hardwood floor. My hearing is all muffled. I think I hear someone say," get her to the nurse, now!" and Shane saying," hold on Nikki, just hold on". But I can't, the darkness seems so inviting. I close my eyes and let the Blackout take over me. This day just gets better and better.
