Nikki's P.O.V
The only thing I know for sure is that I fainted, that for once my blackout didn't cause the darkness that I now see. Nikki, you have to wake up, you fainted, Nikki? Can you here me? You aren't in a coma are you? Nikki!. My eyes snap open, and I sit up, or at least I try to. Right away I notice that someone's arms are wrapped around my waist. I know I'm in my room, so that means I'm laying down in my bed. But I fainted, so how did I end up in my bed?. I look up and see Shane. He's sleeping. I try to get out of my bed but his grip around my waist is too tight. I try to wiggle out but that only makes his grip tighter. I sigh loudly and say," Shane, I know you're awake, now will you let me up". I look up at his face and see that he's awake and smiling down at me. I say," Shane, how did I get to my bed?". He smiles lightly and says,"I carried you, your parents went to get some more medicine and they took Nate with them, they told me to watch you". I roll off his body so that I'm laying down next to him. I cross my arms, face him and say," so, in other words....you're babysitting me?". He looks at me, frowns, and says," no, I'm not, I'm just making sure you're safe, Nikki". A laugh comes out of my mouth before I can stop it. I say," so basically my parents put me on house arrest". Shane sighs and strokes a hand through his hair before saying," look, I'm gonna go downstairs, I'll bring you something to eat, k?". I don't answer him. I hear him sigh one more time, before my door opens and closes and I hear footsteps thumping down the stairs. I jump on my bed and let out a loud scream straight into my pillow.
