Nikki's P.O.V.
My body jerks forward with force as if I've been punched. I raise my head and look at Shane. Shane looks at me and says," Nikki?, is that really you? And not Nick?" I nod. I look out the window and see that the sky is dark. I look around the shop and see that employees are cleaning up. I get up from my seat and practically run from the store. I hear Shane's feet pounding after me on the sidewalk. I know where to go. I run into the construction site. Still running I take out my phone and call 911. I tell them," I'm the person who's been killing all the people. My name is Nicole Rosetta Alvarez. I'm in a construction site. Hurry". I hang up. "Nikki!" I turn my head. Shane is running towards me. I look to my left and see a shadow running towards him. I shout," Shane, run!!!". But the figure tackles him and they go flying to the ground. The figure is on top of Shane. He raises his head and I see that it's Nick. He raises his left hand. The light of the moon makes it glint. It's a knife. He's planning to kill Shane. I shout,"No!!" and run towards them as fast as my legs can carry me. Nick plunges the knife and I tackle him. He grunts. He looks at me with confusion and anger on his face. He says,"Nikki, what are you doing? Let me up!" I grab both of his wrists in my hand and say," I trusted you! I thought you were my brother! But now I see you for what you really are, a monster. I hate you Nick, do you hear me. I hate you!" I punch his face. I get up and walk over to Shane. He's bleeding but not too bad. I take the knife out of him. He moans in pain. I look at him for a second before walking over to Nick. I hear sirens and see the flashing of blue and red. I get down on my knees, bend down to his ear and whisper," I'm sorry". I stab him in his heart. I do it about three times before I'm sure he's dead. Tears run down my face and land onto the ground. I whisper, " I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" over and over again. Soon I don't even realize that his body is gone. Nor do I realize that I'm on my feet, my hands behind my back. I don't even hear the officer say," Nicole Rosetta Alvarez, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law, you have the right to an attorney, if you cannot afford one. One will be appointed to you. Do you understand these rights that have been read to you, Ms. Alvarez?".
