Nikki's P.O.V
My Mom, dad, and Shane form a triangle around me and walk me to my Mom's car. My parents get in the front seat, and Shane and I get in the back. While Shane is sitting down and while I'm climbing in the backseat, suddenly Shane grabs me by my waist and pulls me into his lap. I can feel my face heat up at the sudden move. He wraps his arms around my waist and holds me there. His arms feel tense, so I can tell he's still mad. My mom keeps glancing in the rearview mirror back at me. I look out of the window and look up towards the sky. I see that it's really dark out. Yeah. Nice job kicking Madison's ass, Nikki. She totally deserved it.Also, if you want to know the time, it's 10:46.I let a smile appear on my face. I can't talk aloud to Nick, or else everyone will hear it and think I'm crazy. The car is filled with a tense quiet. I don't see Nathaniel in the car, so they must've left him at home. The car stops and we're home already. Once I hear the car doors unlock, I hop out of Shane's lap and rush inside the house and upstairs into my room. I shut the door, lay down on my bed and close my eyes. A minute later I hear my door open, and a tiny weight is on my bed. I open my eyes and see Nate, sitting on my bed looking at me. A soft chuckle comes out of my mouth and Nate says," Nike, can I sleep with you?" I smile, and lift my hand to move his hair out of his face. I let out a breath, smile and say," yeah, you can sleep with me, come here". He climbs on top of me and I wrap my arms around him. I pull the cover over us, close my eyes and go to sleep. Night Nikki.
