Before I knew it, weeks have already past by and Yule Ball was tonight

I paced in my room a little too excited and nervous at the same time

What if I trip and fall down?

What if Fred didn't showed up?

Thoughts surrounded my mind before Hailey caught my arm

"Oh God cmon Mavis! You're getting me dizzy! And by the way we should start our make up since Yule Ball starts in a couple of hours" She reminded

"What the bloody hell? I'm not fucking ready for this!" I cursed plopping myself in the bed

"Watch your words Mavs, it's not good to curse" she joked. I groaned in frustration throwing her my pillow

"Who's your date by the way? You never told me who it is!" I pouted crossing my arms. Her eyes widened and she started to blush

"I'm going out with Harry.." She whispered excitedly

"Oh my God!! I knew it!" I said jumping from my bed. She looked at me weirdly before asking me why am I all squealing

"I gave him an advice to take you to the ball stupid!" I rolled my eyes at her

"Wait you what?!" She asked shocked

"You heard me buster" Before I could turned around she engulfed me with a bone crushing hug

"Thankyou thankyou thankyou!" She exclaimed releasing me. I sighed in relief and breathe in some air

"Everything for my friend!" I exclaimed

Hailey did my make up. It was kind of smoky eyed make up making my ocean blue orbs pop out, she also contoured my cheeks to make my cheek bones show out and decided to out on some dark red matte lipstick on my lips making me unrecognisable when I looked in the mirror

"Merlin's beard! I look stunning" I gasped looking at my reflection. a different Mavis looked at me smiling.

"You should definitely change your hair color to blonde" I did what she told me and wow, it suite my face and dress

"Damn, boys will swoon for ya. Especially Malfoy" She said earning a glare from me. She curled my hair using a muggle device and let my hair down I stared in awe. She made me look like a work of art.

"Alright then, it's my turn to make you look pretty" I said.

I did her make up, I contoured her cheeks like what she did with mine, gave her a bronze eye shadow and eye lined her eyes to make her look fierce and put some light pink lipstick on her. I also straightened her hair and braided in aside. She was more than perfect

"Wow you've did great!" She said squealing in the mirror.

"Now for our dresses" she happily announced. We took out our dresses and wore it. I told Hailey to put my necklace that mum gave me. It was a silver necklace with a letter M charm made with Gold.

"Now you look gorgeous" She said. Once again I looked at the mirror. The boyish Mavis was replaced with a girly one how nice.

I wore a three inches heels since I was already 5'8 and I cant fucking walk on heels for Merlin's sake. Good thing I was born incredibly taller than everyone except for the twins and Draco who was like 6'1 or 6'3

"Ready?" She asked looking at er muggle watch. The ball was starting soon

"Ready" we walked together out of our dorms. Everyone in the common room stopped and stared at us in awe. I looked down not wanting to gain some attention. The girls admired our looks and the boys were already swooning.
