Chapter 85

I was nearly getting warmer in what was happening in the seventh floor where two students were guarding the corridors holding brass scales. I was looking around seeing no one was there I morphed myself into Snape's face as I walked towards them. The two looked at me frightened

"What are the two of you doing here in the corridor?" I asked in a monotonous voice that Snape always uses "Aren't you supposed to be in class?" The two squeaked as they dropped their brass scales running away. I smirked knowing that they wouldn't be returning any moments now so I looked around touching the wall if there was any secret levers or handles in this place. I paced back and forth thinking about a place where what could they be hiding things. Then a door materialises infront of me

"That's it!" I said brilliantly "The room of requirement!" I smirked praising myself as I entered the room. I remembered the twins taking me here back when I found out I had something special within me.

"Who's there?" A voice said I stood frozen as I realised who's voice it is. "Reveal yourself!" He said I was finding the direction of the voice as I saw him standing over a huge cabinet pointing his wand at me

"Draco?" I asked softly "What are you doing here?" He looked at me shocked

"Mavis?" He said he ran towards me hugging me. I was taken aback first but I hugged him back. Then he was already crying in my shoulder

"God I missed you so much. I love you" He mumbled as he nuzzled his face in my neck

"I missed you too love." He released me from the hug as he looked at me directly

"Turn back into Mavis please" He said smiling. I smiled morphing back to normal

"God" he said smiling "I'm so sorry" He said as he pulled me into another hug. I missed Draco's hug so much, it gave me warmth and comfort as I smelled his familiar peppermint scent.

"It's okay I know you didn't mean it Draco" by that he pushed his lips into mine closing the gap between us. I missed this kind of feeling as thousand of butterflies erupted in my stomach feeling his soft lips into mine. I snaked my hands over his head as he snaked his hands over my hips

"Draco I'm so sorry I should've-"

"No, it's alright Mavis. It's okay I understand I know why. I should be the one who should be sorry I shouldn't have shot you the unforgivable curse" He said cutting me off as he wiped his tears away

"I know that you were not thinking straight that day Dray, it's okay really. But the twins, Harry, mum, dad" I said frowning "I think it-"

"Mavis I really don't care if your family hates me. All I care about is you, and once we are finished with the battle, I will marry you" He said quickly he looked at me and sighed "If I tell you something would you run away from me? Would you break up with me?" I looked at Draco, bewildered at his questions

"Ofcourse not-" I looked at him in shock lost in my own words as I blinked "Could it be? Draco?" I asked him. I was hoping that he wasn't one of them that all of this was just a joke.

"I'm so sorry" He said choking as he cried infront of me lifting his left sleeve revealing the hideous tattoo scarred in his left arm "I have no choice, I have to do this or he'll kill me" He said my eyes softened as I engulfed him into another hug

"Draco I'm so sorry, It's okay darling I'll still love you. I know that you'll be choosing between life and death by that. I really don't care I won't judge you" I said as I cupped his cheeks kissing him

"Yeah but deep inside you would" He snapped glaring at me "because this filthy dark mark is branded in my arm! You'll think differently of me!" He growled

"Draco Lucius Malfoy! Can you just think clearly that I am not judging you and I will accept you no matter who you are!" I shot back at him, he looked at me his face softening as He sighed

"I'm really sorry. I didn't mean it all of this stress is killing me" He covered his face with his hands frowning

"As much as I want to Draco, I couldn't help you. You have your duty and I have my own. You are the youngest death eater and I am the youngest auror ironic isn't it?" I said smiling "I know that you didn't have a choice but after the war you will have a choice, Harry will defeat voldemort okay? This will be done Draco" I said as he hugged me again

"I'm so glad that I have you Mavis" He mumbled as his breathe tickled my neck

"I'm so glad to have you too Draco" we sealed the spaces within us again

"Where have you been?" Sevy asked once I've sat on my usual seat in the hufflepuff table

"Around the castle" I said my eyes gazing towards the slytherin table where Draco smiled winking at me. I shook my head biting back my smile, the three stared at me wildly

"What?" I asked

"You've been sneaking off with him haven't you?" Sevy asked

"Course not" I said rolling my eyes the three looked at me firmly again I sighed raising my hands in surrender

"Alright alright! I am! Happy?" I asked cocking my eyebrow at them

"Audrey you know that there's a possibility that he can be a death eater-"

"But You Know Who wouldn't be branding 16 years old" Gilliane asked thoughtfully cutting Sevy in the process

"But we don't know since there's alot of endless possibilities too" Jazz said smiling

"Jazzy's right" I said "but isn't it ironic that the youngest auror and death eater are possibly dating?" The three laughed snorting at the process

"That would be a travesty" Sevy said chuckling

"It is" I said agreeing glancong over the slytherin table once again

"But aren't you two dating?" Jaz asked confused

"Course not" I said frowning "Been avoiding him since we arrived here"

"But that was weeks ago!"

"Yeah both of us can manage." I said smirking at them

"Dumbledore's not here again" Gilliane said frowning while she looked at the staffs table

"Reckon he's out there finding a way to destroy you know who"

"I agree Sev" I said nodding "He'd help Harry to defeat him. I mean just look how can a teenage wizard defeat the most evil dark wizard of all time? Ofcourse he needs some help he doesn't even know what he's doing!" The four of us looked at the Gryffindor table to see Harry eating silently. He looked up to see us looking at him. He smiled waving at us

"I've always admired him" Jaz said dreamily

"Jazmine! You're like 8 years older than my cousin" I said in a hushed tone laughing. The three of laughed at Jazzy's facial expression

"Oh come on!" She said mortified "drop it, I didn't mean it like that way! Ugh, I'm heading back" She said standing up storming away from the great hall

"Typical Jazmine" Savy said chuckling
