The Slytherin Prince meets the Slytherin Princess

Chapter 71

"Mum! She could be in danger back there!" George argued with his mum, we were on our way to the King Cross to head back to hogwarts

"George! She can handle it! She's very well trained you know that!" Mrs. Weasley snapped at George

"She can be injured again! Just look at what happened with her right shoulder!" Fred pointed out, I was resisting the urge to slap the twins back into reality that I can handle myself. I wasn't used that the two were being so over protective over me

"Fred, George, I'm fine no need to worry! I'll write to the both of you everyday. Just please stop worrying, there's a bunch of aurors I'm with" I told them, holding their hands and giving it a tight squeeze, we soon stopped in king cross as we were ready to enter platform nine and three quarters.

"We're going to missyou" the twins stated hugging me tightly but careful since my shoulder hasn't fully recivered yet.

"I'm going to miss the both of you too. Please take care of yourself while I'm away, I promise to go back to Diagon Alley whenever I'm free to." I told them nuzzling into their necks. I broke from the hug kissing their cheeks before saying goodbye one last time.

Tonks and I entered the platform first, the golden trio following later on, Tonks was rather gloomy again, and I hadn't found a way to make her smile again atleast. We entered the train as soon as everyone was on boared as we roamed around the corridors

"I'll go to the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw compartments, take the other two yeah?" She said smiling slightly, there was a sharp pang in my heart, I'll be seeing Draco again.

I roamed around the corridors looking if everyone was completely safe. I stopped by the compartment the Weasley twins and I were usually in, I smiled sadly reminiscing what happened two years ago.

"Hey Audrey!" I turned around to see Harry beaming at me

"Hey Harry, where's the two?" I asked him

"Prefect duties, guess what? I got team captain this year" he beamed proudly showing his badge

"That's nice!" I said smiling then I remembered that I wouldn't be playing for the Slytherin team since I was dead. Harry had noticed my change of mood, but some student interrupted him so I casually slipped away entering the slytherin compartment.

Students scowled at me as if I was an intruder. I glared at them proceeding to patrol the area

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Daphne Greengrass said eyeing me from head to toe

"For your information I am an auror I will be forever grateful if you're much nicer to me" I scoffed at her

"Why would we believe you? You look like sixteen or something." She sneered. I smirked

"Atleast read the daily prophet, I am Audrey Weasley, the youngest auror in training in the wizarding world" She gaped, I smirked at her shocked expression before walking away, then My heart skipped a beat seeing Draco, he looked handsome as ever as his platinum blond hair was brushed to the side, he was paler and thin but he git taller over the summer, his silver blue cold eyes stared at the window, sitting beside him was Pansy. I clenched my fists as the sharp wave of jealousy hit me.

"Draco, you can rest your head in my lap" She said attempting to seduce my ex boyfriend, Draco sighed resting his head on her lap, I almost gasped but I just stared at them my heart shattering to pieces. It was only 3 months since Mavis had died, could he possibly moved on so quickly?

"What are you looking at Weasley?" Pansy scowled at me

"It's my duty to look after students you-" but I was cut off by Sevy who entered the Slytherin conpartment looking for me

"There you are" he smiled wrapping his arms around my shoulder. We had been very close since training, he was already my other bestfriend asides from the Weasley twins

"So Sev, let's go now shall we? Someone here doesn't want to be interrupted with her boyfriend" I said almost gritting my teeth in disgust. Sevy looked at me smiling knowing that I was jealous so we strode off and united with Tonks and Jazzy, the other auror in training while Gilliane was no where in sight

"You really have to move on" Sevy said, I groaned placing my head over his shoulder

"I don't know Sevy, it's hard and I still love him" I said frowning looking at the sun setting at the distance.

"Wotcher Ron!" Tonks called out at Ron who bumped into her

"Sorry Tonks" He said before leaving us. Soon, the train halted to a stop, signaling our arrival in hogsmeade.

Once everyone had already left, I saw Draco had a victorious smirk on his face and eventually vanished, I wonder what he had done

"Everyone seen Harry?" I asked

"I'll check on him" Tonks offered I nodded and headed to the carriages checking every single one of them.

We arrived shortly at Hogwarts, the warm welcoming greeting us, I felt home at once, I was frowning for I only experienced two years of studying in this amazing school, here I had entered the castle as an auror in training, not as a student, and not as Mavis.

"-and welcome the aurors who will be joining us this year to ensure our safety among the dark forces" the Great Hall doors opened as the four of us held our heads high proudly, students looked at us whispering to one another as we walked to infront standing straight and mighty.

"So let me introduce you to this fine looking witches and wizard, standing right infront of you are Jasmine Vale, Sevy Zetroú, Gilliane Payne, and ofcourse you have heard her, the youngest auror in training Audrey Weasley" everyone clapped for us, I scanned the room to see Harry and he was holding a tissue and his nose was covered in blood. "And I was saying, the three of them are here to keep all of us safe, you can approach them anytime whenever you need help, that's all off to bed all of you" everyone rushed out of their seats and headed through their common rooms.

"Ah so, I know the three of you are thinking where to sleep haven't you?" Dumbledore asked "The three of you may go get comfortable at the Ravenclaw tower. The rooms are already prepared for you." He instructed then he turned to me "As for you Audrey dear, I have to like a word with you at my office"

I followed Dumbledore into his office, Fawked was sitting on his perch looking greatfully at us, Dumbledore sat at his chair smiling at me

"Audrey, or should I say Mavis" he started "You ought to know that you should be careful, Something might trigger you to return back to your usual self" I looked at him confused

"I know that you're confused but I want you to stay focus and positive, run along now you have to patrol the corridors until midnight along with the three, deliver this to Harry tomorrow morning" Dumbledore said handing me the parchment before dismissing me. I hastily put the letter in my pocket as I roamed around the deserted corridors, when I was already in the fifth floor, I saw two first year Slytherins standing guard in the pillars

"What are you two doing here?" I asked them politely

"Why do you care?" The other girl snapped scowling at me

"I care about your safety missy" I said sternly "You don't want to get in trouble yeah? Go back to your common rooms now" I said

"Who are you to boss them Weaslette?" A voice snarled behind me, I turned around to see Draco with his infamous sneer at his face

"As I was saying Malfoy, I am an auror and I care about their safety, students aren't also around to roam around the corridors after curfew" I told him emotionless, his silver blue eyes that once stared at me warmly was now cold and vicious.

"Nobody cares if you're an auror Weasley get out of my way!" He said bumping into me making me stumble a little, my heart shattered he'd never treated me like that before, remembering that I was Audrey, I never had anything to do with it.
