Rude Awakening

As the day went on I thought about my situation. Do people really think I'm a goody goody? Wow. Not the first impression I was hoping for at this school... I must have been distracted because I heard someone calling my name over and over

"Diana?....DIANA?!"

"Huh? What?" I said snapping out of my thoughts realizing the voice belonged to Jacob

"Class is over...let's go." he chuckled

"Huh" I say..I can't believe it was over this quick "Already?"

"Umm Yeah.." Prince smiled

"Oh well.....okay" I said while getting out of my chair and heading out the door

"Hey..wait up" he yelled wile following me

I sighed and continued to walk with him following me. After a few minuets I couldn't take it.

"¿Por qué me sigues (Why are you following me?)" I stopped and turned around.

"Porque pareces molesto. (Because you seem upset.)" he said worried

It's nice that he cares about my feelings but I don't want him to think that I care what people think about me

"Bueno, yo no estoy así que por favor deje de (Well, I'm not so please stop)" I lied...this is the first time I lied and hopefully my last...

"Estás mintiendo .. dime .. por favor (You're lying..just tell me..please)" He pleaded and grabbed my hands gently

I looked down at our interlocked hands then back at him..he looked so concerned..maybe I can tell him.

"Prométeme que no vas a reír (Promise you won't laugh?) "I asked helplessly

"No prometo nada (I'm not promising anything)" he chuckled playfully

"Yo no le diré a continuación, (I just wont tell you then)" I sighed

"Ok ok...I promise..just tell me" he said speaking English again

"People think I'm a goody goody and that's not the kind of impression I want everybody to take on me" I said quickly

"That's it? I thought someone died or something" Prince sighed a breath of relief.

"My heart did" I said sadly and looked down

"Awww...Well we can fix that..once you hang out with us..You will be a certified baddie" he smirked

I smirked back and looked down and my hands that were still interlocked with his

"Uhmm you can let go of my hands now.." I giggled

He looked down at them and smiled

"Why mami?" he whispered seductively sending chills down my spine.

"N-Nevermind" I stutter 

He smirked and with that we walked hand in hand down the hall

"Hey Diana!!" Lourdes yelled down the hall

I turned around from my locker to see a smiling face with red hair

"Heyyyyyy" my voice trailed off because I couldn't remember her name

"It's Lourdes but you can call me Lo" she continued smiling

"Oh well hey Lo" I said 

"So did you want to come to Loni's house later to y'know just chill...since it's a Friday" Lo asked

"Ummm" I thought about it..Prince DID say that one day with them would turn my image around, but on the other hand I didn't want to change myself completely hanging out with these guys...hmmmm

"Sure I'll be there...but is that ratchet girl gonna be there too" I asked hoping that she would say no

"You mean Desihoe?......Unfortunately yeah..but if you don't bother her she won't bother you" she insisted

"Okay...see ya there I guess.." I sighed

"Okay!!!" she cheered and ran off
