34.Like It? No. Love It? Yes
The sun woke me in the morning and I reached up to rub my head, but found a bandage wrapped around it. I pushed myself off the bed and walked out of my room. I used the handrail as I hurried down the hall to the door outside; then I walked and walked until I reached the old pine tree, where I removed the bandage.
I lay there relaxing for a two hours before Annie found me. “DAD! Come please. I need your help,” she pleaded as she grabbed my left hand.
“Okay Annie,” I laughed as she gently pulled me across the field and into the circle cage.
“Stay Dad,” she cheered before she ran off, but she soon returned with Billy and the other Big cats. She dashed off again and came with a chair this time. “Sit and watch.” I sat as she began practicing the show repeatably, I saw many things that I liked and loved. She had the animal-kids doing flips and jumping over another. It was truly amazing because real animals could never do that. “Did you like it?” she asked when she finally finished.
“Like it?” Her smile turned into a frown. “I love it!” I cheered as I hugged her with my left arm and her beautiful smile covered her face once more.
“I'm so glad. Come help me put them away...except Billy,” Annie commented as she opened the circle cage and the Big cats followed her to their individual cages. “Billy, it is your turn,” Annie told as Billy continued to follow us all the way to the hotel. “Dad, please take him to his room,” she ordered before running off.
