"An RV park?" Levy blinked her hazel eyes in confusion.

Lucy smiled and clasped her hands together. "Yeah! It's perfect for birthday outings since no one ever thinks of going there."

Levy was still puzzled. What business would her best friend have going to an RV park for her seventeenth birthday? "What exactly do you plan on doing?"

Lucy eyed Natsu out of the corner of her eye and laughed nervously. "We are mature high schoolers now. Despite our sense of responsibility, we're still rebellious. And I'm starting to feel adventurous," she explained briefly.

"What she means to say is that we're going to break into a super-rich settlement and sneak around just for the heck of it," Gray chimed in, Juvia glued to his side.

Levy's eyes widened. She couldn't believe it! Lucy, the bubbly, cautious girl, actually wanting to do something dangerous? It was absolutely insane. Not to mention the blunette herself wasn't too fond of the idea. She wanted nothing to do with being risky.

Seeing the look on said girl's face, Lucy's arms shot forward and gripped Levy's hands. "I know it probably sounds like the stupidest thing you've ever heard. But I wanted to do something different for my birthday. You know, like exploring my horizons!" she insisted.

"Luce is finally realizing how fun it is to be risky," Natsu said, earning an appalled look from the blonde. "What? I didn't say it was a bad thing!"

Levy shook her head in disbelief. "So basically, you five want me to accompany you on a journey to an RV park just to sneak around? That's a recipe for disaster!"

"Not completely," Yukino spoke up. "Lucy's dad knows the man in charge. If we get into a tight situation, we can just fall back on that."

Lucy gazed at her best friend with pleading eyes. "Please, Levy? I know you have work for the student council, but we've already talked to Jellal and he says he can handle it."

Levy casted her eyes down, her mind at war with itself. One side wanted to please Lucy and go along with her plans. The other side begged her to listen to reason. This was idiotic! Sneaking into one of the fanciest RV parks in Magnolia and then running around like juveniles? It was outrageous to the girl's mind.

But amidst the two fighting sides, there was a sliver of something Levy had never felt before. It was like an urge inside her to taste adventure and feel the thrill of risk. The very realization that she wanted to do this crashed into the blunette like a truck.

Levy fought hard with herself. Should she listen to her friends? Or should she listen to reason? She most often chose to obey the latter's opinion, and it had gotten her into the Student Council, straight-A student list, and other extracurricular activities that were only meant for intelligent students.

But... that tiny sliver still nabbed at her.

"... I guess I can go with you guys," she decided, meeting Lucy's brown eyes that were overflowing with disbelief, joy, and excitement.

"Really?" she exclaimed, clapping her hands. From behind her, Natsu grinned, Gray's eyebrows shot up, Juvia gawked, and Yukino smiled.

Levy herself seemed to be just as confused of her decision as her friends, but it was too late to back out.

She only hoped that she wouldn't regret her choice.

As the days passed, Levy began to look into the RV park Lucy wanted to go to. Well, less like got to, more like break into.

It was called Seashore RV Establishment, and indeed, it was one of the fanciest in all of Magnolia.

Camping was a regular activity for the city's people. With the lush forests, clear waters, and peaking mountains, it was most definitely camping material. Levy herself had been camping a few times with her parents, although they stayed in a tent. It was fun as a kid, but after aging, it became difficult in many different aspects.

Seashore RV Establishment, though, was meant to provide extreme comfort to its occupants. You could drive in your own RV, or you could rent one. The possible choices for renting provided massive vehicles with various beds, counters, and sitting areas. They were larger than your average RV and much more luxurious.

Nevertheless, it was a well-known, fascinating park. It had a history, too, which Levy was all-too-excited to learn.

The founder, Yajima, was an eccentric, but otherwise clever man. He created the park in hopes of providing relaxation to people of many ages. Back when Magnolia was only starting out, the park was one of the first establishments. Although its popularity was minimal back then, it had peaked in the years since.

Once Levy had finished gathering information - just in case of an emergency, as she would claim -, she closed her laptop and let out an exasperated sigh. The glasses resting on her nose had been there for so long that she hardly noticed their presence.

She spun around in her swivel chair and decided to look at upcoming schoolwork for the week. If she could get ahead, maybe she wouldn't have to worry about wasting time at Lucy's 'party.'

Regardless, she still couldn't shake the feeling something was going to go wrong. Not necessarily massively wrong, but just... differently wrong. It was an unsettling feeling, and in all honesty, Levy liked her life the way that it was. Change wasn't an appeal at the time.

But it soon would be.
