[Beginning Notes:] Hello everyone!
First of all, thank you SO MUCH for two hundred reads and 40+ votes. It really means a lot and continues to be my inspiration :-)
Second, I apologize for not updating last week. Sunday just came around too quick, and my computer started lagging. It still is, but I was determined to get this up for all my faithful readers :) You guys are the best!
This chapter is also dedicated to @asadrainbow! I met her officially last week but I've been reading her works for a while and I think you guys should too :) She's new to Wattpad, but you can find her stories on her Fanfiction.net account at @insideimasadrainbow. Thanks for being so sweet and reading this story!
Now that that's all been said, here's Chapter 10!

"Good morning, and welcome to Magnolia Daily FM: the only radio station in our beloved city that keeps you and your busy schedule updated on the latest weather changes, trends, and news!
"Today, we are greeted with an unusual array of thunderstorms. Be sure to have parental guidance while driving or a friend to share a long movie with!"
Levy's hands relaxed on the wheel when the light turned red. Through the moving windshield wipers and blurry raindrops, she was able to locate the green sign indicating the street name. Strawberry Street, she recited mentally. That was good. She was almost to Lucy's.
Initially, the blunette had planned to stay inside for the day. Jason, the radio host for Magnolia Daily, had gone on and on about a high percentage of rain showers. Levy wasn't one to despise rainy days, but she also wasn't one to adore them.
But the overly excited radio host had failed to mention - until now, three in the afternoon - that the suspected rain showers had evolved into thunderstorms.
Which was wonderful for our protagonist, who was already on her way to pick up Lucy and meet up with the gang at Phantom.
Changing the radio station irritably, Levy let out a content sigh when River Flows in You filled her ears. Piano music was just what she needed to calm herself down.
A blurry hue of green emitted in front of the blunette's car, signaling her to accelerate. Driving in the rain was most definitely something that Levy hated. She always hummed softly to herself as a distraction, sat up further in her chair to see clearer out the window, and kept her hands glued to the wheel like her lifeline.
Because, really, it was.
And speaking of distractions....
Levy bit her lip in concentration as a car in front of her switched lanes. Gajeel, the boy Sting had warned her about weeks ago, was plaguing her mind. His stares, his ominous presence, the whole shebang. The blue-haired girl knew it was only a matter of time before he decided to come out of his shell, and she could wait a century before he did.
Lost in thought, the girl hardly noticed Lucy's apartment complex come into view. Reeling off to the side of the street, she shifted her Jeep's gear into park. The once roaring engine slowed, but the rain continued to patter mercilessly onto the windshield.
Deciding that getting out of her shelter would be a particularly bad call, Levy picked up her phone and clicked on Lucy's contact.
After a few rings, the blonde picked up.
"Levy!" she breathed. "Thank goodness! I was worried about you driving in the rain."
"So was I," the blunette admitted with a laugh. "Anyways, I'm outside your house. Are you ready?"
