Aaliyah's POV

Symone and Alexis picked me up from the airport at 6:30. It was still early so we went back to Alex's house to wait for Theresa to call us. David called me to make sure I landed safely which led to Symone and Alex questioning me about him. I did tell them I was talking to him, I just didn't go into much details. We're in a good place and I don't want to rush into any by adding a title.

Around 10 o'clock we head over to Theresa's house to have breakfast then we headed to the store to get party supplies for the girls party. Kay was with us but August took Chay and Mya to have a day with them since tomorrow was their party. I haven't seen August in a while and I'm honestly a little happy to see him. We didn't leave off on a good note but I'm hoping we can move past it. The more time I spend with David the less I feel about him. I know in my heart I will probably always love him but knowing that I'm slowly getting over him is good, I just hope he is too.

We spent most of our time in the mall, going back and forth to stores until we got everything needed for the party and a few gifts. It's a princess themed party, but I was told August had a small carnival to be set up in the backyard to surprise them. He's an amazing father figure to them, he has his ways but when it comes to his three girls he'll do anything to make them happy.

When we got done with everything it was 5:30 p.m. Chay and Mya will be spending the night with August because we started getting everything ready for the party tomorrow. Kay pouted for a few hours about not being with August but eventually got over it and started helping me bake the cupcakes.

"Kay stop eating the frosting." I said with a smile

"I can't help it, they taste so good." She giggles. I shook my head grabbing another cupcake to decorate.

"Fine, you can have one but that's it until tomorrow." I say sternly and she nodding with a big grin grabbing a red velvet cupcake then running out the kitchen.

"I was wondering when you would give in to her begging." Symone chuckles putting another tray of cupcakes in front of me.

"Whatever. She's going to feel left out tomorrow so let her be."

"She'll be-" a scream from the other room caused Symone to stop what she was saying.

"What happened?" I ask rushing into the living room to see Mama T crying.

"We just got a call that August got in  car accident." August's aunt Tia explained

"Oh my god! Are they okay?" I ask quickly

"I don't know, but we should head down to the hospital." Tia says while trying to comfort her sister.

"Symone-"

"I got them, let's go!" She said with scared expression on her face.

"Alex can you please stay with Kay, I don't want her to know what's going on." I say

"Of course. Call me when you get there." She says giving me hug then I followed behind Tia.

The car ride to the hospital was quiet. They didn't have to talk for me to know everyone was praying silently to god that they were going to be okay. Symone did her best to hide her tears but I know she was trying to be strong for her best friend. Mama T was a mess but that was understandable. She already lost one son, she didn't need to lose another along with her grandchildren.

When we arrived at the hospital, we received some news that I didn't know how to cope. August had to be rushed into surgery. Chay and Mya are okay but they were resting. I was glad the girls were good but I was worried for August and my mind was going mad with thoughts of what was wrong with him and would he be okay.

We were allowed to visit the girls but still no news on August. I was praying to God that he'd be okay. I didn't cry because I had to comfort Symone while Tia did the same with Theresa. I never seen Symone so sad in my life and it worried me. Trey came after a few hours and took Symone too cool off so I was left alone with my thoughts. David called a few times but I couldn't answer, I felt bad so I sent him a text to let him know I was busy.

"Family of August Alsina." The Doctor called

"Here. His he okay?" I ask hopping out my seat with Theresa and Tia behind me.

"He's out of surgery but he's now in a coma. It's normal so don't worry too much, but Mr. Alsina should be fine. He's healing up nicely and he's in room 418." He informed us.

"Thank you but do you know what caused the accident?" I asked

"The other driver ran a red and it seems like Mr. Alsina turned to car to take the impact of his daughters because they weren't hurt too bad." He explained and I nodded thanking him then we took the elevator up to August's room.

"My baby." Mama T cried rushing to August side as we entered his room.

I stood a few feet away from his bed as I look at his bruised body. He had a few scratches on his face and arms, his ribs were bandaged up and his left leg was broken. I couldn't help the tears that formed. He looks somewhat peaceful but his face still showed he was in pain. I thanked God though because he could've been worst. He's alive and that's all that matters.
