Chapter 1: Halloween Party Disaster

(Elizabeth's POV)

Tonight was the Halloween party at my high school and I decided that I would go as a geek/nerd. I went to my closet and pulled out some knee-high white baggy pants. Then I got out my blue and grey plaid shirt. In my dresser, I got out my jockstraps, underwear, bra, knee high white socks and my nerd glasses.

Next, I went into the bathroom with my clothes in hand and decided to take a shower. I set the pile of clothes and accessories on the sink top thing and took off the close I was currently wearing; a white tank top with a black skull on it and black skinny jeans with rips in them. I turned on the water for the shower and waited for it to warm up. As I was waiting, I looked in the mirror at my body. I had bruises on my arms from where Chris would grab me too tight. Also on my legs and stomach from where the jocks and cheerleaders would beat me up. I was disgusted with myself.

After a long 30 minutes shower I turned the water off, got out and wrapped a towel around my body. I went outside of my bedroom and headed towards Jaime's room. I knock on the door and wait for him to open it.

-"Jaime, open up!" I yell.

-"Give me a second. I'm almost done getting ready!" He shouts from the other side of the door.

-"I just want to see what you're going as." I say. The door opens and Jaime screams.

-"AAHHH! PUT SOME CLOTHES ON WILL YA'." He yells while covering his eyes and turning around so he wasn't facing me.

-"Oh c'mon seriously? You're going as that? That was my idea!" I whine as I look at Jaime's nerd outfit.

-"Well then I guess we will both have to go as nerds." He says and then shuts his bedroom door.

-"UUGH!" I groan and go back to my bathroom to get ready.

I get my makeup bag out from underneath the sink, along with my hair dryer and curler. I dry off and put my clothes on. Then I start drying my hair which takes roughly 15 minutes. After that I curl it to perfection which took another 20 minutes. Lastly, I apply some eyeliner, mascara and some blood red lipstick. I looked at myself in the mirror and wasn't completely satisfied. All I had to do was change my angel bites. I changed them from silver balls to black balls (not funny xD). Perfect.

Finally I was done with everything so I grabbed my fanny pack (gotta look nerdy), which had my phone and some money in it and rushed downstairs to find Jaime waiting for me by the front door. "FINALLY!!" He shouted. He opened the door and there stood Mike and Vic. Mike was dressed like a surgeon and Vic was dressed as what looked like one of the members of the rock band KISS.

-"Hey guys!" I said and hugged both of them.

-"Hey little Lizzy." Mike chuckled.

-"Are you two ready to go?" Vic asked Jaime and I.

-"Yep. BYE MAMÁ, BYE PAPÁ!!" Jaime yelled.

-"Adiós mis niños. ¡Espero que se divierten mucho!" (Goodbye my kids. I hope you have lots of fun!) Our father shouted.

-"We will!" I shouted back at him. Then we all got into Vic's truck and started driving to the school.

I kept thinking about how Chris would react when I tell him that I don't want to be with him anymore. I also thought of where I should tell him. All of these questions were flooding my head. Where? When? How? Why? I was then snapped out of my thoughts by Jaime.

-"HELLOOOO EARTH TO LIZ!!" He shouted.

-"What? Umm...sorry I was just...thinking..." I sighed.
