The van that we were in suddenly halted, by guess we had arrived at the rogues' encampment. It had woken me up suddenly, and I whispered to the rest of the group "wake up guys, we have to remain strong against whatever they may use against us. Our identities must remain a secret, it is paramount."

They were all fully awake by that point, but we all stayed silent after that. We all heard gruff voices, footsteps with a heavy tread, then the door to the van swung open and we were all roughly pulled out and our hands and feet bound together. "Right you little!" He said as Ashley tried to escape. What did I say Ashley! I yelled in my head.

We were dragged, luckily for us they couldn't detect the wolves in us, due to us being half-were's, but Rose - she was lucky. We were dragged to a shed, and they swung the door open and tossed us down a staircase into a large expansive cellar; we were then further dosed with wolfsbane injection.

Once we were inside I looked over everyone briefly, but scooted myself over to Rose and Charlotte to check on them. I then proceeded to clear my mind, in attempt to talk to my wolf, seeking advice. 'We need to get out of here, but when, how?'

"You need to be patient Elizabeth, remember our secret is precious, use it wisely. Oh also - ask Rose who Alexander is."

With that she drifted back into the depths of our mind. How great are friends? Well the kind of friend, that is also your other half and you can't separate from them, because your souls are intertwined.

I reached across the cellar, yet again and proceeded to ask Rose who Alexander was, she replied "he is my older brother, the alpha of our pack, the Evermoor Pack."

"Rose, can you mindlink him?" I asked her. I could see the concentration forming on her face and  she lifted her eyes back to me, and shook her head.

"How about I try? Tell me, what is his wolfs name?"

"Ryder." she replies.

I don't know why I asked her this, perhaps because Sapphire was pushing me too, because she knew that we could do it. I called out the name Ryder in my mind, trying to connect our minds together as if they were two pieces of string that could be woven together.

I heard a brief response "who is this and what do you want?"

'My name is Elizabeth, and I believe your human counterpart's name is Alexander, we have your sister Rose here with us. We need your help. We found her, and wish to bring her back home.' Myself and Sapphire replied through the newly found connection with Ryder.

He left after I mentally yelled at him. Really? I don't understand why male wolves are so damn stubborn!

Alexander's POV

I was sitting in my office, with my advisers trying to detail on our maps all the possible rogue hideouts, that my sister, Rose, might have been taken too. When I suddenly felt a push from my wolf, Ryder, in my mind. He told me about this girl named Elizabeth, and her wolf, Sapphire, who  knew where Rose was. I replied to him 'find out anything she knows, our sister's safety is paramount, any and all leads must be followed.'

Now we have a sort-of lead, I guess. I will come for you Rose. If this Elizabeth person turned out to be true. I was getting tired of people looking for money, and then the leads given end up turning up with nothing. I sighed, as I made my way up to my floor in the pack house.

Ryder, popped into my mind again. He is always doing that, especially because he likes to interrupt my train of thoughts. 'Alex we are going to meet our mate soon.'

"When and how do you know this?" I demanded, but as per usual getting answers from him was like trying to get the truth out of a politician, null and void with straight answers. He henceforth ignored me and disappeared.

With that, I just continued on my routine and settled with a book on the couch in front of the fire, to try and resettle my mind with the hope of seeing my sister.

Elizabeth's POV

It felt as if we had been here a while now, probably a couple of days. The rogues, from what I guessed all lived around this cellar place, where we all currently sat around doing nothing; in an encampment. We had to keep quiet, otherwise one of them would come down here and beat us until the person fainted - and I really didn't want to go through that again.

But, apparently we were all deemed useful enough to do chores. All apparently, except for Rose and Charlotte, they sat together huddled in the corner of the room. Every few hours of the day, we had to clear up the place outside, or what we could see. It was always dark, and our line of sight consisted of trash and empty beer bottles.

I had tried to contact Ryder again, but it seemed that he decided to stay quiet on the matter. So did my wolf, which is unusual because I thought we both enjoyed our daily banter. As in the short time we have been acquainted with one another, she has always been blabbing to me about one thing or another but to me, it was just nice to hear another sane thought.

I was fine for the moment, but it was becoming clearer that my friends were losing hope, quickly. They were constantly frowning at our prison door that was guarded 24/7, then glance at me, like they were expecting me to come up with some genius plan!

Then, I remembered.

I had the potion.

I could not use it for its original purpose, to make us all appear dead. But if I was right, we were on cooking duty today, Rose and Charlotte included, it was the perfect opportunity. We had to prepare the meat they gave us and then cook it.

I took the potion from the heel of my boot, and poured the vial into a mixing bowl and added a sprig of Rosemary and some orange and clove; muttering a few words over it. I then dove the vial back into the liquid, and poured it into a syringe. Then injecting it into the uncooked steak.

I had already given the girls, a form of the antidote, incase they accidentally ingested it.

Once the conception was injected, I put the meat on the stove and sat down and sautéed some vegetables to go with the meat in some butter. Then I took the plates out and when the meat was done I piled everything onto them.

I took the plates up from the kitchen, to the fire, and left the plates where everyone would have access. If this plan worked, they would fall asleep in seconds.
