I glanced around at what I hoped would be the last time I would glance at this particular white room, as the doctors gave me the go ahead to leave, although I had to be careful and not over exert myself to protect the babies.

But Lauri's words echoed still in my mind, about her daughter and her story, and from that I knew something within me had changed; perhaps final recognition of finding out who I truly was.

Xander came back into the hospital room at that moment, waving the paperwork in the air and I sighed in relief and he helped me up from the bed, from where I had been lying on my side because the marks on my back needed to heal before I moved anywhere. He helped me change into some baggy clothes, and led me out the door and toward the exit of the hospital, and it was at that moment I saw it - it was snowing. White, pure flakes of crystallised ice that was floating down to the ground in its thousands.

On our walk back home, we were covered in snow, but I loved it, it was so peaceful. It was these moments that I cherished, so that when we got back home I didn't want to go inside, so I sat on the front porch steps for a moment. Xander still standing up beside me, when he noticed I wasn't moving he chuckled "I'm guessing a hot chocolate is in order then?"

"Ooh yes please."

He went inside at that moment and I sighed leaning against a pillar, this is what happiness felt like. He came back outside a few minutes later with two steaming hot chocolates with whipped cream and marshmallows on top, although I could smell a hint of cinnamon - now this drink is heaven in a mug.

"So, am I allowed to ask what happened in the hospital whilst I was down under?"

"Well, you were asleep for nearly a whole week, and as I told you, James temporarily took over as Alpha, as Martin was away with Megan for a break. So I didn't leave your side, well until your mother and father decided to pop in and come see you, your mother is a force of nature" he said pulling me closer to his side and wrapped the blanket further around our shoulders "and took care of the nursery at the pack house for when we stay over there, she tried to do the one here, but I said that was for you to decide." He said gazing at me from the rim of the hot chocolate's we were both downing because it was freezing out here.

"You know what's weird, this whole time I felt like I never knew the whole truth about who I was, but after meeting Leari and learning about the Hunter's Gift and everything else. I know the reasons behind everything, I felt whole with you, but never quite with myself. I never really thanked you for that Xander. Thank you, love." I said turning to look up at him and pecking him on the lips.

"Hey, no I should be thanking you as well, you mean more to me love, than anything in my life. You're about to become my wife, mother of my children, and you're the most amazing Luna in the entire universe, or my universe at least, everyone else's opinions be dammed." He chuckled, and I just shook my head at that, and couldn't help but laugh along with him.

"I think also, you might be needing this?" He said, as snow flurried all around us and he turned to be in front of me, and then crouched down and presented me with a ring, "thought I might do it properly this time around."

I couldn't say anything, frozen at what was happening, "Elizabeth, my Lizzie for the time I have been with you and for the rest of our lives, I have and will cherish every moment, you mean everything to me ... will you do me the honour of marrying me?"

"Yes" I replied, speechless that the damned fool decided that I needed a ring, but I loved it, it was gorgeous

"Yes" I replied, speechless that the damned fool decided that I needed a ring, but I loved it, it was gorgeous. "Now get up you fool and kiss me."

"I love you," he said kissing me and then lowered his head down to caress my swollen stomach "all three of you."

"I love you too," I responded pecking him on the lips.

A week later

I was so happy, after he gave me the ring, Ashley and Megan texted me the very next day and we all went dress shopping that could fit a pregnant woman that would give birth in about three weeks time.

They helped me choose a plain white sleeves gown, with a sweetheart neckline and a diamond encrusted belt, with a silver headband, and then a pair of white flats and some silver jewellery to match.
