"Mama, can you please stop cooing over baby clothes?" I said to my mother who was currently racing ahead of me in the baby store trying to find the perfect outfits for the twins.

"Maybe this one will look good for-" she said gleefully holding up another two outfits for my baby girl. "Why don't we just put it in the trolley and the ones we don't like we can just return," I said having enough of her jabbering on about her grandchildren and how beautiful they will be.

Xander then came over to me with a raised brow, wrapping his arms around me, giving me a little bit of comfort with what I felt like a raging storm around me.

We had walked around the mall now half a dozen times buying the various items we would need for the babies, and my mother was a force of nature when it came to shopping. You couldn't trust her.

"Maybe we should go get something to eat, darling?" My dad said turning to my mother who was too busy looking at a onesie.

She just waved her hand at us, so me and Xander walked away after my dad said he would stay with mom.
---
It's been a week now and I am now seven or eight weeks along, although I reckon I am eight, Samuels couldn't tell us for sure. I never thought I would be having kids, let alone having a mate. But I love Xander and I would never give him up for anything in the world.

"Good morning beautiful," he whispered turning me over to face him, the satin covers gliding like waterfall down to the bottom of the bed. "Hello handsome," I giggled wrapping my arms around his neck, pulling him closer and placing a kiss on his lips.

"Come on love, what kind of kiss is that?" He whispered leaning towards me again and capturing my lips with his, our tongues moving as one and fighting for dominance with as much fervour as possible.

"I need to pee," I whispered when he finally stopped kissing me and looked into my eyes for a brief moment then rested his head in my neck, he detangled his arms from around me and I sprinted to the bathroom door.

Once I had finished, I stripped and hopped into the shower washing off all the grime and grease that I had gained over the past few days and just rested my head against the shower wall. My stomach was growing a little more every other day, stupid enhanced pregnancy - in about four weeks I would be huge!

Once I had lathered the shampoo and conditioner in my hair, I covered myself with my dragonfruit body wash, I washed it all off and walked towards the towel rack and grabbed a fluffy white towel. Then I suddenly remembered I left clean clothes in the closet. Great, now I have to deal with a lustful alpha.

I walked in and ran to the closet, hoping he wouldn't notice. I grabbed some underwear and slid them on and then grabbed a dark lilac maternity dress, that had anonymously appeared in the mail box the other day, until I saw it was from Alice. Which reminded me, she sent a note with the delivery saying that she had formed a pack with Becca, and they were now gathered in North Carolina.

I grabbed a pair of flats and went out to see a pouty alpha looking at me from across the room. "What's the matter Mr. Alpha?" I asked looking at him through my damp hair.

"You, that's my problem," he whispered huskily against the bare skin of my neck. "I can't get enough of you." "Dirty thoughts Mr. Alpha will take you to dangerous places."  I replied entangling in his hold, trying to get free to answer my babies need for waffles and bacon, when my stomach made my case for me by growling.

"I guess food it is then." He mumbled in my ear before swooping me up in his arms and carrying me bridal style down to the kitchen and placing me on an island stool.

I really wanted to help but every time I went to get down, Xander would tell me that he had got it covered.

"Pancakes or Waffles?" He said turning around his ever growing arrogant smirk present. I tapped my index finger thoughtfully against my chin pretending to think for a moment, "I think I'll have both; with some crispy bacon and nutella." I decided.

He groaned and turned around searching through the cupboards for the necessary ingredients. But then he turned around, and looked at me for a short moment before striding forward, capturing my lips in a cheeky kiss.

"Lucky everything is already prepared," he said with a devilish smirk playing on his handsome masculine face.

"What are we doing sitting here then?" I asked innocently, trying to hide the smirk on my face. He kissed me again but this time with a lot more fervour, just as the alarm sounded as smoke came from the cooker.

"Uh oh," I whispered cheekily, gasping behind him; covering my mouth with my hand so he couldn't see me laugh.

"What are we going to do now?" I said, quickly hopping off the stool and running towards our room and hiding in our closet.

"Love? Where are you? Are you alright please come out me and my wolf are really worried," he said, his voice getting ever closer.

I accidentally let out a loud breath, he quickly opened the door and swept me up onto his arms.

"Got you," he whispered in my ear, peppering kisses down the side of neck, sweeping my hair to the side.

"Have you now?" I said slipping out of his arms. Chuckling and taking a step towards the door.

"Come back her-" he started to say, but then someone interrupted him. "Now where are my best friend? Or has she gone MIA?" A new voice interrupted, I turned around and saw.

"Megan?" I asked.

"Omg girl! I haven't seen you in ages! Welcome to our humble abode! Do you want a tour? Yeah I'm guessing so ... See you later Xander!"

"Love you shouldn't be doing too much, you can show her after breakfast - deal? I don't want anything to happen to the babies, please?" He said looking at me, making me start to feel the slightest bit guilty for even suggesting it. I was just happy to see one of my best friends again after so long.

"Ok, I'll guess I'll see you later then godmother," I said winking, trying to hide my glee. "Really? Thanks Liz! When are the little ones due?" She asked hugging me in the process.

"About eight and half weeks," I said nervous about the thought of going into labour.

"That's really great! Well I guess I'll see you later!" She said hugging me again and leaving.

"Shall I make breakfast again or is that a no?" he said looking at me, his stormy grey eyes staring intently in mine. I kissed his lips sliding my tongue into his mouth as my answer. "I guess not then." He said as we fell onto the bed.
