Happy Birthday

Something brushed my hair from my cheek as I slowly opened my eyes. Hazel ones looked back into mine. The same ones I was always getting lost in. Austin's. A smile was spread wide across his face.

It's been two weeks since the accident and I was back to living with Austin, he managed to get my aunt to drop it. We still didn't know why Kyle had shot him and I had thought of it many times as to why he did but never came up with a good answer. Austin was better, he didn't look like he was gonna pass out everytime he took a step.

"Good morning, birthday girl." Austin leaned his head down and kissed my nose.

"Don't remind me." I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"Hey it's something to celebrate when you turn seventeen. Trust me I've already done it once." Austin said.

"I'm getting older though." I sighed. How could I already be seventeen?

"And have grey hairs." Austin squinted at my hair.

I shot up, pushing past Austin to my mirror. I studied my hair before turning back around to Austin.

"Every funny Austin." I playfully hit his chest.

He put a hand up acting like he was really hurt. I rolled my eyes and headed for my closet. I thought about the weather. It was raining. I dressed in skinny jeans, my red 'I <3 Austin' long sleeve shirt and red and black high tops. I fixed my hair so it was straight and applied natural makeup.

Arms wrapped my waist as I hit the landed of the first floor. Balloons and steamers were placed through out the room.

"Austin." I warned, he had planned something when I didn't want to make a mess of my birthday.

"Happy birthday, Lilly." Michele said from the kitchen door.

I walked up and hugged her. Dave came out into the living room and hugged me also. So did Candace, Alex, Zach, Tyler, Rebecca (Andrew's Girlfriend), Andrew, Selena, and my Aunt Danny and uncle Mark.

"Oh my god. Guys you didn't have to make a big fuss over my birthday." I smiled at the people I've came to know and love.

"We know. We just want you to know we all are so greatful to have you in our lives, especially Austin's." Michele said.

"Come one, you have a ton of presents to open." Candace grabbed my arm and led me over to the couch which was next to a huge pile of presents.

I then noticed Candace's stomach was rounder. I widened my eyes as I reached out and touched her stomach.

"Oh wow." I said.

"Yeah, that's what I said when she told me." Alex said smiling as he wrapped an arm around Candace.

"You finally told him?" I asked Candace who smiled and nodded.

"Alright enough with the baby drama open." Candace smiled and handed me a gift wrapped in bright blue paper.

I ripped off the paper like a four year old on Christmas. In side it held light blue beats with black rims.

"Aww thanks, their awesome." I squealed.

Alex handed me a red wrapped gift that was small and fitted in his pocket. I unwrapped it. I smiled when I saw what was in side. It was a phone case with me and Austin on it and had 'I Love You' on it.

"Aww thanks Alex." I leaned over, hugging him.

"I thought you might want something that was close to the heart."

"Here open mine." Michele pointed to a big black and blue wrapped box that went up to my waist.

"Holy presents." I said before ripping it open.

Inside was a new stereo. I jumped up and hugged her.

"Me and your uncle got you something we knew was gonna be needed if you ever wanted to take trips to the beach or go to a friends house or road trip." my aunt smiled before holding out a pair of keys.

"Oh my god." I ran for the front door and pulled it open.

In the driveway with Austin sitting on the hood was a midnight blue 2012 mustang. my eyes almost popped out of my head. I've been talking about owning this car for a year now.

"Happy birthday baby." Austin hugged me. "open my gift."

He handed me two boxes, one was square and flat while the other was small and cube shaped. I unwrapped the flat square one first. Inside was a book. A scrapbook.

I opened to the first page. The firs picture was Austin and I while I was in the hospital after my parents accident. It was all placed in the book by the date.

I unwrapped the last gift. It was empty. I looked at Austin with a confused look.

"You already have it." He took my hand in his and placed it over his heart. "My heart belongs to you."

I bit my lip holding back a cry as I hugged him. That was the sweetest thing ever to me.

"Here." Austin lifted a silver locket over my head the chain was so wide. On one side it read 'My heart belongs to you', the other was 'Austin and Lilly'.

"I just can't get rid of you can I!" a raspy male voice came from near by.

I turned to see who was the owner of the familiar voice. my world went black after meeting the harsh eyes of my dad and Kyle.

So Kyle made another appearance. And her dad is out of jail.

Sounds like some Drama is really gonna happen the next chapter and you guys will find out why Kyle shot Austin.
