Dear Diary,
It has been 2 months since Me and Shane have moved into the flat. It's going okay so far. There are no arguments like there were at the care home, when someone needs the bathroom, or petty arguments. Me and Shane get along really well it's obvious we're best friends. Ellie has visited us a couple of times to check up on us. But I know what you're wanting to hear. Ever since we have moved in I had a feeling at the back of my mind but I can't quite understand why. I haven't told Shane about it because he seemed so happy with the flat we decided to get it straight away. It's probably just because we've only just moved in and it's a new place. I have to go now Shane is trying to cook and I don't completely trust him in the kitchen on his own.
Robin.
"Shane! You haven't burned the kitchen down have you?" Robin shouted closing the book and placing it in her shoebox under the bed.
"No! I'm the good cook your the bad one," Shane called back. Robin heard him curse quietly, she shook her head as she left her room and wandered into the kitchen where Shane was stood at the oven.
"Umm yeah. What are you making there Shane?" Robin asked spying the Tomato soup can on the side.
"It's a suprise." Shane said over his shoulder and then moving the can from Robin's sight. Robin laughed and walked to the living room. It was strangely dark in there. She sighed and threw the curtain's open and filled the room with daylight.
"That's better." She muttered as she looked out on the city of London. "Shane did you manage to find any work yesterday?" She asked turning back to him.
"Urm, yeah but it's not great," he replied and grabbed two bowls. "How about you?"
"I managed to get a job in a little cafe," Robin said proudly, "I start on Tuesday."
"Congratulation's!!" Shane said happily and poured the contents of the pan into the two bowls. "Okay. Dinner is served can you guess what it is?"
"Umm, is it tomato soup?" Robin asked sitting at the breakfast bar.
"How did you know?" Shane exclaimed in mock shock. Robin giggled and sniffed the warm soup when he handed it to her. They sat slurping at their soup and disscussing topics which neither made sense or had any relevance to them before heading off to bed.
Beep. Beep. Robin llifted her head to see what was causing the infuriating noise. beep. beep. When her thoughts had cleared she realised it was Shane's alarm clock. She yawned and stretched under her covers before padding over to Shane's room. The alarm's beeps were increasing in speed and when Robin knocked on his door he murmured something and probably fell back to sleep. She pushed the door open and turned the alarm off. Shane turned over, he slept through his alarm!
Robin deliberated for a second before wondering into the kitchen. She grabbed a pan and wooden spoon. she stood over his head and started banging the pan over him shocking him awake. He gave Robin a dark look and took the pan off of her. Robin collapsed onto the bed in a fit of giggles and Shane joined in eventually.
"It's time to wake up!!" Robin called and stood up, Shane yawned and rolled out of bed. Robin wasn't hungry for breakfast despite Shane's protests and quickly hopped into the shower and pulled on her skinny jeans and t-shirt. She came out of the bathroom and brushed her hair into a wet ponytail then put her converse on. She walked to the living room where Shane was sat flicking through TV channels.
"It's Tuesday today isn't it?" He asked still watching the screen.
"Yeah. Does this look okay to go to work in?" She asked and Shane looked up at her. His face screwed up as he thought and then he smiled.
