Hadley's POV
I wake up to loud snoring in my left ear and grab my phone to see what time it is. The digital clock said 8:43. Shit! I had work in less than 15 minutes and I wasn't even dressed! I quickly jump off of Paige who just groans lazily. I run upstairs, well hobble, to my bedroom and throw on a pair of black shorts, a blue tank, and some Toms. I grab my keys and phone and quickly glance back at Paige who was still passed out on the couch. I jump into my car and drive what felt like warp speed. Once I finally arrived I grabbed my apron and name tag with minutes to spare.
"Hey Meg!" I yell as I get my self situated behind the counter.
Oh and Meg was one of my co-workers at Starbucks with me. It's not the best job in the world but it pays the bills and I get employee discounts on drinks so every once and a while I'd bring something cold for Paige.
"Hey Had! How are you?"
"Oh just peachy I guess, I literally woke up 15 minutes ago! I kinda broke my leg the other night," I say awkwardly
She looks down as if just noticing my blue cast.
"Oh my! How'd that happen?"
"Oh you know me being clumsy I slipped down the stairs."
"Well I'm glad that your ok," she says giving me a warm smile.
The bell to the from door jingles indicating a customer had come in. He looked pretty shady with his black hood up and dark sunglasses and then I looked down at his shoes which gave it all away. He came up to the counter and kept his head down while ordering.
"Um ill have uh a grande cafe Americano, hazelnut macchiato, skinny flavored latte, vanilla latte and a pumpkin spice latte."
"Wow very thirsty" I said eyeing him suspiciously.
"Yeah it's um for my sister and her frien-"
"Louis cut the crap, that's the worst disguise ever, you better change shoes next time!" I say laughing.
He looked up at me with a smile.
"Oh hey Had, I didn't know you worked here"
"Yeah well if you put your head up or maybe listened when I said,'I work at the Starbucks down the rode on the right'"
"Oh you know I suck at directions love,"
"Whatever ok that will be €17.99," I say holding out my hand.
He handed me the money and waited over by the wall while Meg and I worked one the drinks. We finally finished after 5 minutes and handed him the drinks. He'd taken off the is glasses and waved me goodbye.
"Bye Lou! See ya!" I yelled
"Ohmygod do you you know who that was?" Meg pretty much yelled in my ear.
Oh right I'd always forgotten to tell her about the boys.
"Yeah it's Uh Lewis Tomlinson from that uh show right?" I tried playing dumb
"Ha ha that's cute no it's Louis and not just any show, the X-Factor!"
"Oh right whatever" I said waving her off.
The day went on pretty smoothly and by 2 my shift was off.
"Bye Meg see ya later!"
Once I got home the house was unusually quiet and that's when it hit me. It was the day. The day Paige has been dreading for a while now. I was just so caught up in everything this morning I guess I had forgotten. I look everywhere for her in the house but I can't find her. Well this is just spectacular, what now? I try calling her and after a couple rings she picks up.
