Paige's POV:
I eyed my opponent with distaste. She was cute, small and blond. Too bad I'd have to beat her. This time the rules changed once again. It was all based on points, if you were knocked unconscious you had to continue fighting once you awoke. So I circled her, my hands up and ready. I saw Hadley and Tyler talking, good they were finally getting along! Before I could treasure the moment she came at me fast. I tried to side step but she caught my shoulder just enought to knock me to the floor. However once we were down I had the advantage, all those hours of wrestling paid off, and I punched her face repeatedly. I continued as hard as I could, hoping to immobilize her. After her struggling for a few moments the ref pulled me off and we started again. This time when she came at me I tried to grab her as flip her over buy my knuckles were slick with her blood and it had seeped onto my palm. So instead we both fell awkwardly to the ground, my back was against the fence and I had no where to go. I tried getting off but she was squarely planted on my chest. I turned my head away but now it was her turn to cave my face in. My cheek split open but thankfully the bell rang just then signaling the half time period of the fight. I rushed over to Tyler who quickly set to work bandaging my face.
"Ok your both evenly matched. It's going to be close so stick with your kick boxing now and try to rack up some points. You got this babe to get them." He commented, kissing the top of my head and sending me back into the ring.
I looked over at Hadley's seat but it was empty. I figured she was probably in the bathroom, the poor girl was having horrible stomach problems. At least we knew why now. So the rest of the fight I did as Tyler suggested and kept out of her reach, a kick there. A few punches before darting away again. Before I knew it the fight was over. As always I was practically shaking with exhaustion. I listened to the announcer go through his speech, catching boys and pieces.
"Little seperation. Close fight. And the winner is.." I perked up, my eyes bright and apart.
"Samantha Patricks." The announcer said, lifting my opponents arm high into the air.
"Are you fucking kidding me!" I heard Tyler yell from the corner, his chocolate eyes flashing.
I shook my head gently and he clamped his mouth shut, still looking pissed. As I limped over her quickly wrapped a jacket around my shoulders so my muscles getting cramped.
"You should have one. You had way more contact on her than she had on you." Tyler hissed, his fists clenched.
"Hey calm down it's ok. It was a fair fight she was just better." I said, trying to sooth him.
Eventually he sighed and his tense muscles unclenched. Hadley came up, giving him a look of burning hatred.
"Good job Paige." She said, reaching over to give me a hug but stopping short as she saw my arms coated with sweat and thought better.
"Thanks Hadley. I have to go to the locker room and watch the rest of the fights. Your welcome to stay and I'll try and come see you in a few minutes." I explained, and she nodded leaving to take her seat.
With that me and Tyler made our way into the locker room where Jack and Luke were waiting. Of course they were in their uniforms which consisted only of small spandex shorts. I'd learned to restrain myself from staring because they were all completely ripped. None more than Tyler himself. Who choose to take off his shirt before sitting down next to me.
"Good job Paige. That was great." Luke and Jack commented from the corner where they were stretching.
"Thanks. Who's up first?" I asked, smiling as Luke quietly raises his hand.
