Paige's POV:
"Ok I'm going to go get a drink. Do you want anything?" Harry asked, looking down at me with a smile.
"Yeah just whatever's fine. Thanks." I replied with a grin, watching him weave his way through the crowd.
I had to admit, Harry looked very, very dapper in his groomsman tuxedo. I swear I could see the girls heads turn to watch as he walked past. Even some I knew had husbands. And me being the jealous bitch I am had to get away before I ripped someone's head off. So I made my way off the dance floor and too the now empty reception hall. My head was just spinning right now. It was one of those moments where once it's over you know nothing will ever be the same.
And it was over now. I mean don't get me wrong I was thrilled about the wedding. Hadley got to marry the man of her dreams, everything went perfect, she even settled things with her parents about the pregnancy. But where did that leave me?
Any hopes I'd had of Hadley moving back in with me were gone. After the season ended, Tyler would go back to London. I'd probably stay with the boys until the end of the tour. But then what? I couldn't impose on their generosity anymore. I didn't have a husband or even a family to return to. I'd probably end up living alone with Simba in some shitty apartment. That was my future and truthfully it terrified me.
"Paige?" A gentle voice asked.
I looked up to see Hadley bending over me.
"Shouldn't you be with Liam?" I teased, but she pulled out the chair next to me anyway.
"Shouldn't you be with Harry?" She responded with a shrug.
"We're not even dating Hadley..."
"But you could be. And you should be." Hadley said, looking at me pointedly.
"I told you. I'm just too scared."
"Of what!"
"I dunno.. Of losing him." I groaned, laying my head onto the soft tablecloth.
"You can go out their and fight 200 pound men... But your afraid of letting him love you?"
"Yes."
"Paige that makes absolutely no sense! He's perfect for you how can you be that blind?"
"Hadley it makes perfect sense." I protested.
"How."
"Because! If I get hurt in a fight they have operations from that. But there is nothing surgery can do for a broken heart!" I admitted, running a hand through my hair.
"Paige, the poor boys been waiting for you. If that doesn't say something about his commitment than I don't know what will. "
"It's only been a month Hadley. I've had goldfish longer than that." I said with a chuckle.
"No. It's been more than a year Paige. Maybe you never realized, but he's loved you since you dated Niall." Hadley said, shaking her head.
I just sat there. Stunned into silence. Since Niall...? Apparently Hadley saw my disbelief because she continued.
"Didn't you ever notice? Even when you were dating Niall. How he shared his cloths with you, how when Niall first dated Jade he was so upset. And when you almost left us Harry practically went into hysterics. You two had a yelling match. I know that hurt you, but he cared so much but he couldn't say it. That hurt him more. Even after that, who fought Tyler? Not Niall. Harry did. He was trying to protect you. Maybe he went about it wrong, but he was still trying Paige! He's been trying and trying and maybe you can't see it, but your his fucking world so stop being so selfish and just let him in!" Hadley ranted, stopping as footsteps approached behind me.
