Kiara's pov
Yadira hasn't seen Sammy since he went to jail.
I was gonna take her this one time when I went to visit him, but he didn't want her to see him like that. So he said just wait till he gets out.
It kills me that she hasn't seen her daddy in 2 years.
It also kills me that she thinks Dice is her daddy.
Since it's been over 2 years, Dice went to bail him out. It'll cost less since he's been in there longer.
I'm waiting for him to come home. I'm just chillin with Yadira. She's starting to call Dice by his name, but she slips a few times and calls him daddy.
It's been 2 hours since Dice left and I'm starting to get worried.
I called Dice's number and he answered on the 3rd ring. I heard screaming and laughing.
"Hey, what's going on?" I said.
"Wassup Ki. We at the mall getting him some clothes, we gotta get him a new phone too so we'll be there in the next hour and a half" Dice said.
"Hurry up. I wanna see my baby" I said.
"Ok, wait" he said then hung up.
Yadira and I slept for 2 hours then my phone rung. I laid her on the couch and picked it up.
"Hello?" I said in a sleepy voice.
"Sorry to wake you, but open the door" Dice said. I could hear Sammy laughing in the background.
MY BABY'S HOME! FINALLY!
I ran to the door and opened it.
Sammy was standing there smiling.
He got his hair cut and got his beard shaved off, so he looked the same. Just taller.
I froze and just stared at him. My eyes started to water.
"Hug me woman" he said laughing and he put his arms out.
I ran into his arms and jumped on him.
I cried tears of joy, laughing along with him.
"You missed me?" He asked.
"You ask the most stupidest questions ever, of course of did" I said hugging him tighter.
"Oh shut up and kiss me" I got off of him, let him in the house, and kissed him, giving him the same kiss he gave me before he left to jail.
Then Yadira started crying. She got up and waddled to me.
"Hey baby" I said picking her up.
She stopped crying and stared at Sammy with a look of confusion.
Sammy stared back at her as his eyes watered.
Did she forget him? I thought
She suddenly reached out for him.
He got her from me as tears started to pour out of his eyes.
Then Dice walked in.
I did a quick prayer that she wouldn't call him daddy.
But...
"Daddy!" She yelled reaching out for Dice.
Dice froze and looked at Sammy.
Sammy looked at Dice and looked back at Yadira.
"I'm your daddy Didi"
"Fru lu Dice!" She said pointing to Dice.
"Kiara why the hell she just called him daddy?" He said, his face turning red.
"Umm, she used to call him GDaddy. Yanno, for God daddy, but she stopped and just started calling him daddy. Now she calls him Froot Loop Dice"
Sammy sighed and looked at her. She was trying to get the Froot Loops from Dice.
"No Yadira, who's that?" Dice said point in at Sammy.
She started whining because she doesn't know who he is.
"That's your daddy Froot Loop" Dice said pointing to Sammy.
She stopped whining and looked Sammy dead in his eyes.
Then she put her hand on his nose and smiled.
(Remember before he went to jail she did the exact same thing)
Then she had this look on her face, like she realized something.
"Daddy!" She said then she hugged him.
Sammy instantly hugged back as his eyes started to water some more.
I sighed in relieve and smiled.
"I missed you daddy's baby" he said as tears started to come down.
"I mih yu" she said then she kissed his cheek.
I taught her to do that😌
Sammy started smiling extra hard.
Then he looked at me and signaled me to come.
I came to him and he hugged me then pecked my lips.
"I luh you Kiara"
"I love you more Sammy" I said.
"And I love you more Didi" he said in a baby voice tickling her.
She started laughing extra hard and she turned red.
He stopped tickling her and laughed.
"She looks just like me" he said putting her face on the side of his.
"Make a mad face mama" Sammy told her.
She made a grumpy face and so did Sammy.
"Did you come out my vagina too?" I said to Sammy.
"Yup, Didi and I are twins" he said putting her down.
"I'm bout to go. I gotta take Ash somewhere" Dice said getting his keys.
"FRU LU DICE?!" Yadira yelled running towards him.
He laughed and picked her up.
"Whatchu want baby?"
She wrapped her bright arms around his neck and hugged him.
He kissed her cheek.
"Bye bye" she said as he put her down.
"Bye Froot Loop" he said then he walked out the door.
Yadira walked over to us and grabbed Sammy's hand.
"Pak!" She said to Sammy.
"Hmm?" He said picking her up.
"Pak!" She repeated. He looked at me with a look of confusion.
"Park" I said.
"Ohh, we can't go to the park baby. There's a storm coming."
"What a storm?"
"A storm is when a monster comes and cries all over the town. If you go outside while he's crying, he's gonna try to eat you" he said bending down to her level. She made a sad face.
"Mobi?" She said looking at me.
"Of course baby, go pick one" I said. She ran up the stairs.
"Mobi?" Sammy said confused.
"Movie" I said.
"Oh" he said sadly.
I grabbed his hand.
"I know your upset about not being here but it's ok. You had a reason to not be here" I said
"I know. I just missed out on a lot and I don't like that shit"
I pulled him closer, grabbing his face and kissing him.
"Eww! Mommy nasty!" Yadira said coming downstairs with frozen.
It's been like 4 years since that movie came out but she loves it.
"I'm not nasty girl" I said getting the movie and walking towards the tv.
"Imma go put my stuff upstairs" Sammy said.
"Ok, it's the same room" I said as Yadira cuddled up under me as the movie started.
Sammy's pov
I grabbed my bags and walked through the room door.
"Nothing changed" I mumbled.
Welllll, maybe except for the bed spread but other than that, everything looks the same.
I put my stuff down and went into Yadira's room.
It changed a whole lot.
She still has the crib I made for her, and a few pictures are in the same place. Other than those things, everything else was moved around or replaced.
I walked back into the room and hung my clothes up.
I looked in the drawer to see all my stuff still in the top 3. Kiara had the bottom 3.
I went into the bathroom to shower.
1 hour later
I was still in the shower, just thinking about stuff. I already bathed and washed my hair and allat' shit.
I heard the door open then close and soon the shower curtain opened.
"Hey, you ok? You been in here for a while" she asked.
I looked at her and sighed, rubbing my hand on my wet, curly hair.
She had her under clothes in her hands, I'm guessing she was about to take a shower too.
"I'm straight. Just think bout stuff" I said.
She stripped then got in with me.
I'm not even in the mood for sex right now, surprisingly.
"About what?" She said as she started to wash herself.
"Everything. My mom, my dad, Yadira, us"
"What's wrong with that?"
"I know my mom wouldn't be proud of me if she was here. My dad didn't come to visit me not once. When Yadira grows up and finds out that I went to jail, she's gonna want to know why. And us... Me going to jail stopped me from proposing to you. I had everything planned out Kiara, I wanted it to go perfect for you. But things happen for a reason"
"What do you mean 'things happen for a reason?' You don't want us to get married?" She said turning around and looking me dead in the eyes.
I grabbed her wet hands and kissed them.
"No, you got the wrong idea. Of course I wanna marry you. I'm just sayin, I think that was kinda a sign telling us to not get married at that time. We were in the middle of so many problems and getting married wasn't gonna make it better"
"I guess" she said then turned back around.
"You mad at me?"
"No, I'm not. I get what you tryna say" she said. She washed her hair then got out. I got out behind her and put the towel around my waist.
We walked into the room.
"Where's Yadira?" I asked.
"She fell asleep during the movie but I still bathed her then I put her in her room" she said drying herself off. I just stared at her.
She has one beautiful body😍
She put on her panties and bra, put on deodorant and lotion then put on one of my old shirts. It was big so it went pass her ass.
I dried myself off and did the same she did but I put on my basketball shorts.
I went to Yadira's room to see that she was up, just looking at the glowing stars that were put on the ceiling of her room. It was raining and thundering outside.
"Hey baby"
"Hi" she said softly.
"Whatchu doin up mama?" I asked her.
"I scared" she said as a tear strolled down her eye.
Noooooo😭 I come home and now my child is crying because Mother Nature bipolar ass is on her period.
I went to her crib and picked her up and ran my fingers through her long, curly hair. She laid her head on my shoulder and cried.
"It's ok, daddy's here. You wanna sleep with me and mommy?" I asked her.
"Yes daddy" she said.
I kissed her forehead and walked into our room.
She lifted her head off my shoulder and wiped her eyes and started whining.
"What's wrong baby? You had another bad dream?" Kiara ask rubbing her had over her face. I laid down in the bed with Yadira on me.
"No" she said.
"Whatchu cryin for ma'?" She asked wiping her tears.
"She scared of the storm" I said rubbing her back and laying her head on my chest for comfort.
"Da crying monsta gon eat me" she said crying even harder.
Kiara looked at me and laughed a little.
I sat Yadira up and wiped her tears.
"Listen babygirl, I wasn't telling the truth. I just didn't know how to tell you what a storm was in 2 year old language" I said.
Then I realized she didn't understand a word I said.
"In other words, there's no monster baby" Kiara said slapping me on my forehead.
"Ayee, what was that foe?!" I said.
"She's 2 dumbass"
"Dubah" Yadira said, trying to say dumbass.
Kiara popped her hand and she started crying.
"Don't hit my baby like that" I said pulling her closer to me.
"She's cursing!" Kiara said, obviously getting upset.
"But where does she get it from?" I said gripping Kiara's face in my hand softly.
She looked down and lowly said 'me'
"Exactly" I pecked her lips and let her go.
Kiara sighed and laid down, going to sleep.
"Ok, go to sleep mama" I said to Yadira.
She wrapped her arms around my neck and dug her face into my neck. She went to sleep just like that.
I took our picture.
I went on Instagram and posted a picture for the first time in 2 years.

It look a few minutes before people started liking it and they asked if I was outta jail.
