Kiara's pov
I can't believe in 20 minutes Sammy and I are gonna be married! It's crazy how much we've grown.
Its the fact thay we're getting married on our 8 year anniversary.
At the beginning, we didn't think we would even get back together after the 8th grade.
Since my dad sadly isn't on this Earth to walk me down the aisle, Keon's walking me.
We have no best mans and bridesmaids because I only would have had Ash. Sammy wanted it to be fair.
He knows that for my whole life, I've always wanted to go to Paris.
So that's exactly where we went to get married.
Right in front the Eiffel Tower 😍
He's so excited, that's all he talked about since he proposed.
Right now, I had a professional makeup artist do my makeup.
Waterproof mascara because we all know as soon as I walk out the water works are gonna start coming.
"You look so beautiful Kiki! I'm so happy for you" Ash told me as she helped me put my dress on.
"Thank you, I'm so nervous" I said looking at myself in the mirror.
"About what?"
"I heard Sammy flew my mom out here. I haven't talked to her in about a year and I feel like she's just gonna come up in here and ruin shit"
"Come on that's your mom. She won't ruin this special moment for you"
"I don't know Ash. Last time I seen her, we went to my dad's house to talk. She never told me why she left us" I said.
"Welllllllll, maybe you can ask her about it now" she said looking behind me.
"What are you talking about?"
She turned me around, only for me to be face to face with my mom.
"What do you want?" I said backing up a little.
"Ima let y'all talk" Ash said then she left the room.
"I just want to say that I'm happy for you baby. I'm proud that your father raised you to be the wonderful, beautiful, loving woman you are now. You didn't need any of my help. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you and Keon before. The reason I didn't tell you is because I don't want to lose you. The truth is, I-I left for another family. But hear me out, you have more brothers and sisters. You have more family. I brought them with me so they can meet you. They have been dying to meet you. I'm sorry I left, I'm sorry I wasn't there for you, I'm sorry I didn't raise you, I'm sorry you couldn't experience having both parents, happy and married, I'm sorry I made you feel worthless, like you didn't mean anything. You mean the world to me and I apologize for everything I did. Please forgive me Kiara. I love you" she said as she shedded tears.
I dabbed the tears away that was under my eyes with a tissue and wrapped my arms around my mother.
"I love you too momma, I forgive you"
We stood there and hugged for about another 5 minutes then I pulled away.
"Oh baby, you're messing up your makeup. I'll wait outside for you" she said laughing while wiping her tears and kissing my cheek. I laughed along with her then sat down so the makeup artist can fix my makeup.
"Okay, see you later"
I smiled as she left, we're finally getting along and it feels really good.
Now I gotta get married then meet these brothers and sisters of mines.
10 minutes later
"Come on Ki, we gotta start walkin- woah, you look beautiful sis" Keon said as he walked in the nicely decorated tent that stood behind the audience.
"Thank you" I said wrapping my arm around his, picking up my flowers flowers, and standing in position.
Yadira stood in front of us holding the basket of flower petals in a similar dress I wore, just children friendly.
Baby Trill stood behind me with the rings in his hand. He learned to walk already and he's still young, he's only 6 months.
Once we heard the music, Yadira started walking then Keon and I started walking.
As the curtains of the tent opened, I saw Sammy standing at the front smiling as big as ever.
Awee, my baby's so happy💘
Jr. stayed in the tent with Ash until the rings are told to be brought.
As I approached the front row of chairs, Keon kissed my forehead then let me go.
"You look beautiful baby, just wait for this honeymoon. I'm tearing that ass up" Sammy whispered to me as we held hands.
I silently laughed then watched as my son kinda struggle to walk to us.
Once he got to us, Sammy got the rings out of his hand.
I carefully bent down and kissed his forehead, then him and Sammy did their little father-son handshake they made up.
Everyone awed at the sound Lil Mike made at the end of the handshake then he went to sit down with Ash and Dice's nephew, Jaiden.
The preacher then ordered everyone to sit down. Then he started talking.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here in the sight of God, and in the presence of family and friends to join together this man and this woman in Holy Matrimony, which is commended of St. Paul to be an honorable estate, instituted of God and therefore is not to be entered into unadvisedly or carelessly, but reverently, joyfully and in the love of God. Into this holy estate these two persons present come now to be joined. Who gives this bride to this Groom in marriage?"
"I do" my mother says. I did a closed-mouth smile at her.
"Jesus Christ Reminds us, that at the beginning the Creator made us male and female , and said, For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh.God loved us, and created us to love others. Our lives find completion only as we love and are loved in return. Together, we can become what we could never be separated. Marriage is of God."
