Kiara's pov
"KEVIN?!" I yelled to Dice, calling him by his government name.
"What nigga?! Calling me by my government name, fuck wrong witchu?!" He yelled back.
"Come hea' so I can finish yo hair! We don't have that much time!"
He came to me and sat between my legs. I twisted his hair and let him sit under the hair dryer.
While he was doing that, I went upstairs to get dressed.
Sammy was in the bathroom, all dressed up, fixing his hair.
"You look sexy" I said hugging him from behind.
He looked at me in the mirror and smiled, then he turned around and kissed me.
"Get dressed, after Dice finish then we gonna take off" he said then he went downstairs.
I went into the closet and picked out a 2 piece dress, similar to the one I wore for my birthday 2 years ago, but in red.
I put on my black heels with red on the bottom, then did my makeup.
"Babe?! Come on, we finna go!" Sammy yelled from downstairs.
I grabbed my clutch and went downstairs.
"Fine ass" Sammy said slapping my ass as I walked out the door.
We got in my car and drove to the restaurant.
Carl wanted to meet us there to talk about something.
Sammy didn't want to, because he hasn't visited him once while he was in jail, but he eventually gave in.
We had to dress formal to get into the restaurant, we were going to Flóras again.
Yadira was with Stunna, he moved in with us.
Once we made it, Carl was waiting for us at the door.
"Hey guys, wassup son" he said putting his arms out for Sammy but he dodged him.
We walked to the table we were escorted to and sat down.
"Ok, so why the fuck are we here?" Sammy said.
"To talk, I'm sorry I didn't see you while you were locked up. I went back to LA"
"So right after I get locked up, you leave to LA?" Sammy said with an attitude, but laughing at the same time.
When Sammy laughs when he's mad, you already know he finna go crazy.
"Yeaa, basically"
"So you left for LA instead of trying to see your fuckin son!?" He said standing up.
"Baby, calm down" I said pulled on his hand.
"Nah Kiara, don't tell me to calm down! Cuz he can't just leave to another state, right after his son gets locked up! I've been there for 2 years! And you haven't came to see me once!" He said turning red. By this point, the whole restaurant was looking at us.
Carl sighed.
"Who is Breda?" He asked, as if nothing just happened.
"Answer my question first. Why did you leave to LA?" Sammy said sitting down.
"... I went back for Mary" he said sadly.
"I thought y'all divorced" I said.
"We were, but we started to work things out. We got remarried the day you got out"
"Ok but that doesn't tell me why you couldn't come see me. 2 whole years dad!" Sammy said turning red again.
"I'm sorry Michael! Ok?" Carl said.
"Whatever, I don't got an appetite no more" Sammy said getting up.
"Sammy" I said grabbing his arm.
He looked at me, waiting for me to say something.
But I didn't.
He snatched his arm back and walked out.
Dice shook his head and I got up, but he stopped me.
"I'll go talk to him" Dice told me getting up and sitting me back down. I looked at Carl who was looking at Dice. Dice looked back at him then left to find Sammy.
Dice's pov
I walked outside to look for Sammy but I couldn't find him. So I called him instead. He answered on the 2nd ring.
"Aye man, where the fuck you at?" I said.
"I'm on the highway" he said with no emotion.
"Nigga you left yo girl?!"
"You could have dropped her off at the house. Just tell her I had something to take care of" he said then he hung up.
"Mane, imma hurt that nigga" I said putting my phone back in my pocket. I looked back to the restaurant and at my car, trying to decide if I should go back in or go get Sammy.
I gotta go get Sammy, I'll be back.
And if I'm not, I'm sure Carl will drop Kiara off. She'll be fine.
I got in my car and drove off.
Kiara's pov
"I don't know why he left. I just invited y'all to settle some things" Carl told me.
I've been here for 15 minutes and he has not stopped talking. I'm really about to take off on his ass.
"So tell me about my grandchild. How is she?"
"She fine, umm I gotta go" I said grabbing my things and getting up.
"Wait I-"
"No, I really have to go uhh, get Yadira. Yeaa, bye" I said rushing out of the restaurant. When I went outside, I expected to see Dice and Sammy at their cars talking to each other.
But none of their cars were there.
"Really?" I mumbled under my breathe.
I called Stunna.
"Hello?" He answered, I heard Yadira laughing in the background.
"Hey, can you come pick me up from Flóras? Sammy and Dice bitch ass done left me here" I said, I was furious.
"Ha, they in the basement right now rolling one up" he said.
"Pick me up please" I said then hung up.
They know I don't like them smoking while Yadira's around. Who know what she can be smelling right now.
I waiting at the front of the restaurant for a few minutes then Stunna pulled up.
I got in and saw Yadira in the back.
"Mommy!" She said.
"Hey baby" I said.
When we got home, Stunna got Yadira and I rushed in there.
I went upstairs to change and then came back downstairs and went into the basement.
The smell of smoke burned my nose.
They were on the couch laughing at who knows what.
"So y'all just left me there with Carl?" I said leaning on the door frame.
They looked my way and continued to laugh.
"It's not funny, that nigga wouldn't stop talking"
They laughed even harder.
Oh lord, their high.
"Come hea' baby" Sammy's words were slurred.
"What do you want?" I asked, staying where I was.
"Just come hea'." He said with his arms out.
I sighed and walked to him. He pulled me onto his lap and started to kiss on my neck.
"S-stop" I said trying to keep my moans in.
He didn't stop, he just started to kiss on my soft spot.
"Mm" it slipped out.
"Ok, gotta blast" Dice said in the voice and then he ran out here pretending he was a super hero.
"Now that he's gone" Sammy said pulling on my shirt. "We gonna take it slow this time"

Sorry I'm taking so long to update, I'm having some problems right now to the point where I can't be at my own house but I'll try to update the next chapter early.
