Kiara's pov
"So what happened?" I asked him.
"I had some girls knock her out and I let Dice lite her" he said sitting down in the waiting room with me.
"Aww, he actually did it?"
"Yeaa, he was like I'm Doing This For You Ash and then he threw it on her"
"Ya know he still loves that girl?" I said.
"Mhmm, I don't know what he sees in her. Like, she drugged me, raped me, and broke us up, she cheated on him, she was part of the plan that killed our first child-"
"I know I know. But Saniyah's death date is coming up" I said looking at his tatted arm.
His tattoos turn me on😍
"Yeaa... I know"
It was silent for a while then I saw Dice rushing out the door.
"I'll go-" Sammy said.
"Nah, you go talk to Ash. I got Dice" I got up and ran out the door.
He was almost by his car but I stopped him.
I turned him around and his face had a slap mark on it and his eyes were black.
"What happened?" I said turning his face so I could get a better look.
"She fuckin slapped me! After I explained everything to her!" He said getting mad and balling his fists.
"Calm down Kev, explain to me what you told her"
"I told her about how after we got together, I still loved Diamond because that was the first relationship I've been in in a while and I told her that I burned her and she slapped me. The bitch is dead, no need to get jealous."
"Is that all?" I could tell he was hiding something. I can see it in his eyes.
"Uhh, she also broke up with me" he mumbled.
"What? Why?"
"Shit, ask her" he said. Then he got in his car.
"Wait!" I knocked on the window.
He rolled it down and looked at me.
"Don't leave yet" he hesitated to get out the car and follow me into the hospital.
We walked into the room and I saw Sammy hugging Ash while she cried. I walked over to them while Dice stood at the doorway looking at his fingers. Yadira was chewing on her teething toy.
I rubbed her back then whispered in her ear:
"We gon all talk when we get to the house, no violence"
She nodded and sat up.
Dice and Ash made no eye contact the whole way home.
"So how did y'all get here so fast?" I asked Sammy as he drove. He had one hand squeezing my thigh and the other on the wheel.
"Jet, somebody had our cars drove here so we can come back tomorrow before the show"
"I don't even wanna go back after what just happened" Dice said.
"The girls can come with us" Sammy said.
I looked back and saw that Ash was sleeping on one side of the car, Yadira in the middle playing with Dice's fingers, and Dice was talking to Sammy.
"No, it's ok. We don't wanna be all up in yall's nappy ass hair. We'll stay with my old friend, if he says yes" I said.
"Betta not be that Mehki dude" Sammy said
"No, you remember Jontavian?"
"That gay dude from highschool who always tried to hit on me?"
I laughed as I thought about highschool.
"Yeaa" I facetimed him.
"Hey Kiara" he said, he was at the pool.
"Hey Jontay. Can I ask you a favor?" I looked at Sammy and he looked at me, then back at the road.
"Yea, wassup?"
"So uhh, I'm with Sammy and Dice right now and they're about to head back to Dallas and they don't want to leave me, our daughter, and Dice's girl alone because of personal reasons-"
I heard Dice sigh after I said 'dice's girl'
"And you need a place to stay? I gotchu girl. But how you doing Sammy?" He asked him. I put the camera on him while he was driving.
"I'm good, I'm good. How bout you?" Sammy said, not taking his eyes off the road.
"Great, you look different" Jontay said.
"Boy I know you lying" I told him laughing.
"He does, he look old"
"I am old bitch!" He said laughing.
"Boy, you only 21" I said.
"And you only 20" he told me grabbing my hand and kissing it.
"Aww, goals. I still can't believe y'all had a baby together. I never knew y'all was gonna take it that far" Jon said.
"I didn't either" Sammy mumbled.
"Well text me your address and we'll be by there later"
He said ok, hung up, then texted me his address.
Sammy pulled up at Dice and Ash's house.
Dice was the first to get out the car and he rushed into the house.
"I got Didi. You get Ash" Sammy said.
He got her and took her into the house.
I got out the car and went to Ash's side.
"Wake up boo" I said tapping her.
She woke up and looked around, then got out the car.
When we got into the house, I saw Dice playing with Yadira. Sammy was sitting on the couch, halfway sleep.
Ash stared at him playing with Didi, as if she was his own. Then she sighed and started to walk upstairs but I grabbed her arm and pulled her toward the couch.
Dice turned around and looked at her, then back at Didi.
"You ok Dice?" I asked him sitting on Sammy's lap. Sammy woke up and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him, then closed his eyes.
"Yea I guess. As long as my child still alive, I'm good"
"Ok, are you ok Ash?"
"Yup, I'm still pregnant so I'm perfectly fine" she said scooting more away from Dice.
"Ok, Sammy wake up" I said slapping his hands.
"Huh? I'm woke, I'm woke. Uhh, what was y'all talkin bout?" He said wiping his eyes.
I playfully rolled my eyes.
"We were about to start" I said.
"Start what?" Dice said as he stopped playing with Yadira. She came to Sammy and I and sat next to him, laying her head on his shoulder while eating Ritz.
"Y'all need to get yourself's situated without putting your hands on each other. No-" Sammy cut me off.
"Imma start y'all off. Ash, tell Dice why you're upset at him" he said.
Ash took in a deep breath and started talking.
"I feel like he can't trust me, he could have told me wayyy before any of this happened. And I wouldn't be mad at him right now" she told Sammy and I, not even looking at Dice. But Dice was looking at her.
"That's bullshit" I heard Dice mumble.
"You were supposed to tell Dice that. And no side comments. Dice, your turn" I said.
"The reason I didn't tell you was because I thought she was dead and I didn't want you to know allat'. But you never believe me when I tell you stuff I truly mean. I know you be having them mood swings and that's what causes all this crazy talk you be sayin, but I be taking that shit to the heart. I don't want us to break up but if that's what you wanna do then fine. Imma still be here for you though" he said still looking at her. She took one glimpse at him and chuckled.
Then Dice got up and stormed out the living room.
"I'M FUCKIN TIRED OF BEING HURT MAN!" We heard him yell.
I quickly got up and ran to him. He was in the kitchen pulling on his twist.
I grabbed his arm and pulled his hand out of his hair. He looked like he was on the verge of tears.
"I swea I love ha but she won't believe me. It's like everything I say is a joke to her." He vented more while hugging me.
He was hurting bad right now.
First, the whole thing with Diamond. Now Ash broke up with him because of that.
Soon, a few tears escaped from his eyes.
Aww, his little heart can't take all this.
"Imma fix this ok? Just stop crying Kev"
He stopped crying then followed me back into the living room.
His eyes were red, so they could tell he was crying. He sniffed and sat down next to Yadira.
She stood up and started playing in his hair.
"Ok, y'all don't say one word to each other until I'm finished" I got up and sat between them.
"I wasn't gonna be talking to him anywa-" Ash said but I cut her off.
"Nope! Shut up Ash." I knelt down in front of Ash and grabbed her hands.
"Look, Dice is hurting bad. He's never experienced what happened with Diamond before and he's been trying to avoid it, that's why you weren't told by him. But for you to just break up with him over something he can't take back, that's breaking his heart. He was in there venting to me and crying over you. He loves you so much Ash, I can tell by the way y'all act around each other. It seems like y'all are more close than Sammy and I are, and we've known each other for 10 years. And boo, you're pregnant. You're having his child, don't push him away. If you do, he might leave and not come back. You don't want Dice out of his son's or daughter's life. He loves you and you love him too, don't deny it" I got up and went over to Dice.
"And Dice, Ash feels like she can't be trusted by you because you didn't tell her. I understand why you didn't, but you shouldn't make your girl feel untrustworthy. Do you still wanna be with her?" I asked him. He nodded.
"Why would I not."
"Do you still want to be with him?" I asked Ash.
She paused.
".... Yea" she said. Dice looked at her and slightly smiled but she kept her eyes on me.
I felt like a preacher right now..
"Then don't break up. Work out yall's problems instead of avoiding them. That'll just make it worse. Y'all understand?" I pointed my finger at them. They both nodded their head.
"Ok then, say your sorry's" I walked back over to Sammy who was watching tv while Yadira ate fruit loops.
"Good job mama" he told me.
"Thanks daddy" I said sitting on his lap.
