Sammy's pov
I woke up to Yadira crying.
It was like 3 something in the morning.
I got up and went downstairs with her on my waist to look for something she can eat.
"Shh, whatchu wanna eat babygirl?" I asked her. She whined and wiped her eyes.
"F-Fru Lu Dice" she said reaching for the door.
I put her on the counter and got my phone out my pocket.
I facetimed Dice and he answered.
"Mane, I'm sleeping. Whatchu want?"
"Didi wanted you. I don't know why though, don't nobody like yo ugly ass" I said laughing.
"Oh, but I gotta whole girlfriend. And she usually likes to play in my hair when it's raining. She likes the color"
"So I gotta dye my hair blue?" I whined running my hand through my hair.
"FRU LU DICE!" Yadira yelled.
"Shhh" I said putting my finger on her lips.
"Hey Froot Loop" Dice said.
"Washu doin" [what you doin] she said.
"Nothin, you scared?" He asked her.
She nodded her head yes and reached her arms out for me.
I picked her up off the counter.
"Ayee, pull up so she can play in yo hair" I said laughing.
"I can't man. Have you looked outside?" He said.
I walked to the window to just see lightning. It's dark as hell outside.
"I can't see nothin bro" I said looking back to my phone.
"It's flooding. Yo mailbox most likely went swimming. And when it get lighter, I advise you to pull yo car in. Well try" he said rubbing his hands over his face.
"Y'all left my car in the lot for 2 years? That messed up" I said.
"Nahh mane, it got towed since it was at Keon's house. I brought it back but forgot to tell you"
"Ohh, I never recognized it. But I think she sleepy now" I said looking at Yadira who kept falling asleep then waking up.
"Ight, imma talk to you later"
"Ight, say bye mama" I said to Yadira.
"Bye bye" she said half sleep, then she collapsed on my shoulder.
"Time to put ha to bed" I said.
We said bye then hung up. I walked up the stairs quietly and put her in her crib, then I walked back to Kiara and I room.
I slowly got in the bed and Kiara wrapped herself around me.
She's such a little baby.
But she's my little baby😌
Now I got 2 babies to take care of.
I watched tv until I saw some light coming from outside.
It's 4/20 so I got up without waking up Kiara and went into the basement.
I rolled up a blunt and started to inhale and exhale the smoke.
I haven't smoke ina good lil minute maan.
I did that until it was a tiny roach, then I threw it in the ash tray.
I went back up the stairs to see Kiara looking mad as hell.
"Are you fuckin serious Michael?! We have a child in the house and you go to smoke?! That makes no got damn sense!" She whisper yelled.
"I was in the basement!" I whisper yelled back.
"The door was open though! I wake up to the smell of smoke! She could smell that and start chocking Michael!" She was pissed.
"I'm sorry ok. I just needed it" I shrugged and walked into the kitchen.
"Well you could have went outside or something" she said.
"I can't, it's flooding" I said.
"And how do you know that?"
"Look outside"
She went to the window and I followed her.
She looked and her mouth dropped.
I came up behind her and dug my face into her neck.
"I'm sorry ok? I never intended to leave the door open" I said as I kissed on her neck.
"M-Michael?" She said as she constantly tapped me on my chest, still looking outside.
"What?" I said, still kissing on her neck.
"Michael stop. Where's your car?" She said.
I stopped and looked out the window to see nothing but the roof of my car above the water.
"Yo what the fuck?!" I said as I rushed upstairs to put some shoes and a shirt on. I came back downstairs and Kiara looked at me crazy.
"What the hell you finna do?" She asked me.
"There's something really important in that car Kiara. I gotta go get it" I said grabbing the keys.
"It's fuckin flooding!"
"And I don't fuckin care"
I remember on Kiara's birthday, before I went to jail, I put Saniyah's ashes in my car. I was gonna give it to her but, yeaa.
And yes, I had her cremated.
They dug up her body for me.
No one knows I had her cremated though.
She wasn't fully developed yet and I wanted to keep a part of her with me. But I was gonna give it to Kiara for her birthday.
It was in a tiny bottle with a metal lid so nothing can get in it. I just hope the water didn't.
As soon as I opened the door, water came flowing in. I didn't care though.
I started to walk in it to my car. Since I'm taller than the car I was able to walk above water.
By the time I got to the car, I was soaking wet.

It was still raining so my hair fell over my face from it being wet.
I pressed the unlock button on the key.
"Ok Sammy, the ashes are in the glove compartment" I mumbled to myself. Then I held my breath
I opened the door and hurried myself inside opened the compartment.
The water made everything come out, but I made sure to get the bottle before it did.
I rushed myself out the car before I ran out of breath.
I came above the water and gulped for air.
I held on extra tight to the bottle as I walked back to the house.
I opened the door and more water flew in but I still didn't care.
"Sammy!" Kiara said in relieve as she hugged me.
"Mama I'm wet" I said.
I didn't wanna hug her back because I didn't want to get her wet.
Never thought I would say that😳
"I don't care. Don't go back out there" she said hugging me tighter. I wrapped my arms around her.
"I'm ok" I said rubbing her back.
"What did you go out there for anyway?" She asked.
"Hea' mama" I said giving her the bottle.
"What's this?" She said looking at it and back at me.
"Look at the bottom"
On the bottom of it, it read:
'Ashes of Saniyah Renee Jordan'
Her eyes widened as they got watery.
"You burned Saniyah?!" She yelled.
Fuck, she's mad.
I should have seen that coming.
