"See you then," Angel waved them goodbye, as she gave an evil smile at Lucy--the three were walking out of the diner. The two men never even got to touch their food. While they kept talking with their former team; Lucy was giving them odd looks, whilst eating her food. Wondering what they were talking about.

Lucy looked back at Angel, who was still giving her an evil smile. Lucy puffed her cheeks and walked up to the two men who walked in front. "What did she mean, 'See you then'?" Lucy mimicked Angel. Making her voice higher and sassier, and using hand actions.

"None of your business." Midnight glared at her. Lucy shuddered from the dagger stare. She put her foot down, catching the mens' attention.

"It is my business!" She walked up to Midnight and started poking his chest with her index finger. "I am the person who's taking care of you two for six months. I have to know what 'See you then' meant! Who knows! You two and your formal team could be plotting something--without me knowing it!" She puffed her cheeks.

Cobra let out an exasperated sigh. "Listen, woman. Sorano didn't mean anything when she said 'See you then'. It's nothing. Believe us, would ya?" Cobra growled. Lucy sighed.

"Sorry," She smiled. "Let's just go home." She said. Walking in front of the two. Cobra ran hand a through his soft, burgundy hair. While, Midnight just gave the blonde odd looks.

Midnight and Cobra plopped onto the couch, turning the TV on. Lucy stared at them. Wondering what was going on in their heads.

"Stop staring." Midnight said, without looking back.

"S-Sorry." Lucy said softly. Heading upstairs to the bathroom.

"We'll make it alive 'til then, right?" Cobra chuckled.

"Yeah." Midnight snickered. "Blondie'll never be able to defeat us. She was only able to by black mailing us. But physically? We win in a split second." Midnight smirked. Cobra nodded. He cupped his chin, thinking.

"Do you know why she was covering her mouth?" Cobra inquired. Turning his head away from Midnight.

"Why?" Midnight growled. Suddenly feeling the urge to not tell his comrade.

"What do you mean 'why'?!" Cobra bit back.

"I don't want to tell you, snake boy." Midnight glared at him. There was a tense atmosphere around the two, both sending bone chilling glares. Lucy was still upstairs, a bit of talking could be heard.

Cobra chuckled insincerely. " 'Snake boy'? What's your problem, emo?" They clashed heads.

"Whatever. I'm too mature to fight like you, you ignorant serpent." The black and white-hair rolled his eyes. Completely ticked off with his companion. The maroon-hair growled, his face contorted with irritation.

"Are you sure you're okay?" A cheeky voice asked.

"Natsu," The platinum-blonde, sighed."Like I said before: I'm fine. There's nothing to worry about."

"Yeah. Sure." Her companion over the phone said sarcastically.

"If I need help--I'll call you guys. OK?" Lucy looked out her window.

"Fine. Mark your words, Luce."

"Fine," Lucy laughed. She put her hand up. "I, Lucky Lucy Heartfilia, solemnly swear to call my comrades if something seems wrong. Happy?"

"Very." Natsu guffawed.

"Good. Now, I need to get going. I'll get in touch with you guys later, 'mkay?"

" 'Mkay."  Natsu agreed. Hanging up.

Lucy sighed, happy that she talked with her friend again. She snapped her head to the door, as she heard someone awkwardly clear their throat. "Oh, Cobra," She got up. "Do you need anything?"

"The corner of your lip. . ," Cobra walked towards her. "What happened?"
Lucy immediately covered the wounded area.

"Nothing happened! I just scratched my lips!" She lied, hesitantly. Cobra raised an eyebrow. Already knowing how bad the blonde is bad at lying. He bent down, slightly.

"You have Midnight's scent all over you," He scowled. "Why?" He asked, almost irritated. He didn't like it. He didn't like that he smelled the scent of Midnight, and he didn't know why.

"Erm. . .  because I live in the same house as you two. ." She stated the obvious. Cobra hissed. (Snakes go hiss, hiss~ Snakes, slither, slither~~)

"Yeah, well, woman. Don't stay too close with that guy--he's not what you think he is. You know that," He narrowed his eyes--his voice leaked with venom. Living up to his name (NOT FUNNY! SORRY) "And that Natsu bastard? Yeah, he's someone you shouldn't hang out with." Walking to the door.

"Pardon?!" Lucy exclaimed, Cobra's steps faltered. He turned to her, a brow raised. "You have no right who I can hang out with! Natsu, especially! He's my team mate! I know you two have fought, and your hatred for him still lingers--but that doesn't mean you can tell me to stay away from him and call him a bastard! You, effin' snake!" She shouted.

Well, maybe because he is. Who knows?  Cobra thought, leaving Lucy in her room--shutting the door behind him. Maybe he has another side. . .
