The two men came downstairs, heading straight to the fridge. The electricity had come back, as well as the bright sun.

"There's nothing here but strawberry cake," The grumpy raven-hair grumbled.

"Does she only eat strawberry cake?" Cobra sat on the couch in front of the TV. Midnight did the same after closing the fridge. The maroon-hair flipped through the vast channels.

"What even is this?" He stopped at one particular channel. It was a crime show. The two most dangerous criminals, had escaped the prison. Taking refuge in a kind woman's home.

'Kind. Ha!" Cobra thought sarcastically. He was somewhat reminded of the blonde who was still in her room.

"This is not even realistic. Who falls for a plain girl? The girl here isn't that pretty at all," Midnight ranted. Cobra just snickered at the rant that he found true too.

"Oh, you guys are up already..?" A weak and tired blonde desended the stairs. She had dark circles under her eyes, red eye, red nose, and she leaned against the wall for support.

'They're up..it's eight am..' Lucy slowly walked to the kitchen. The two men rushed there as well.

"Why do you only have strawberry cakes in the fridge?" Midnight tried not to snap. Their stomachs were grumbling. "And don't you have any other food?"

"Oh..yeah. You see my friends are always sneaking in here, and one of them loves Strawberry cake," She explained tiredly. "I'll make breakfast. How about it?"

"Just make something that is edible," Cobra waved her off. Lucy went to do the cooking, while Cobra and Midnight continued the movie they found ridiculous.

BAM

The two men hurried to the kitchen to see what happened. Lucy was on the floor, the plates were in pieces, she was bleeding and holding her head.

"Oh, it was just you,"Midnight said.

'Can she really not do anything?' The men thought.

"Oh, Cobra..Midnight.." She looked up at them. "I'm sorry. I just fell," She got up, still clutching onto her throbbing head. Her feet up to her knees had a stain of red on them or a shiny object attached to her porcelain skin.

'I'm useless..why can't I do anything?!' She thought. Cobra still doesn't have access to her thoughts. He clenched his teeth.

'Dammit! I still can't read her thoughts! How can I know what's going through her head?! It's annoying!' Cobra thought.

Lucy carefully picked the glass shards, then placed them in a plastic bag.

Midnight clicked his tongue, and left. Cobra following behind.

'What's happening to me? I'm feeling weak...wait. Don't tell me...No! I can't be! I'm just tired from everything..I guess..?' She thought. She shook her head and resumed picking up the pieces. Once that was done; she put the plastic bad in the recycling, which was outside. She groaned, but she knew the guys won't do it. So, off she went. Then, after she was done; she went back to cook. Her simple breakfast hasn't burnt to her surprise. The food was placed neatly on the plates. The table was prepared.

'I didn't even flip the egg...' She thought. Her eyes trailed to the guys who were still watching the movie.

'It couldn't have been them..or..can it?' She thought. She walked to the table and sat down. Cobra and Midnight sat there after doing lots of stretching and mumbling incoherent words.

"Did you..guys..finish the job for me?" Lucy said whole-heartedly, although it seems like half, since she was tired.

"No, why?" Cobra turned his head away.
