I was chosen to go into Philadelphia with Zac, May, Riley, and Sue. Clara, Aunt Sarah, Gabe, and my mother were left behind. I was really nervous in Aunt Sarah's Pickup Truck. I mean who would do such a thing to keep my family hostage. I took a good rest for a while to get recharged, because I was about to face a true enemy.

We made our way down a few roads to the city as our car broke down in an old town district of Hollidaysburg. I mean come on! Now, we will have to spend the night in some old house that has been vacant for years. I do not want to sleep on the dirty floor. I have been in awful situations before, but sleeping on the floor is not my favorite.

We found a good looking house in the district and slept there. The water was still working and there was a couch, a bunk bed, and a comfy chair, so it was right for us. Two could sleep on the couch, two for the bunk bed , and one on the comfy chair. I chose the comfy chair, because it looked and was comfy. The house was two stories, but the second floors roof was a little bit broken, so we moved the bunk bed downstairs into the living room.

For an old house in one of those districts, it was really big! It had a kitchen, a dining room, living room, front room with a computer (Which still worked!), four bedrooms, and three bathrooms in all! That's one big house! The garage door is nowhere to be found which is a bummer, but the shed out back looks perfect!

We stored the truck inside the shed as it began to rain. We all ran into the house and turned on the TV which worked! The remote was gone, but we had to use our fingers. For fun we chose a movie from the three that we found under the couch. There was some movie called "Divergent", one called "Ghostbusters", and another called "The Hunger Games". We chose "Divergent", because it looked pretty good for a movie that came out 100 years ago in 2014. It had a girl on it that I recognized from another old movie called "The Fault in Our Stars."

The movie was just at the best part until there was a strange knock at the door. I, of course being the only brave one went to the door. I looked through the peephole to find a woman that looked just like my mother, but with braids and a baby girl in her arms. I opened the door slightly, so that she wasn't going to kill me or something.

"Hello" She said softly as if she thought that someone was sleeping.

"Hello, who are you?" I asked as if I was a detective trying to solve a case.

"Hello I am Mary Evans, Zac Evans mother." She said with a grin on her face.

What the heck! I thought that Clara was his mother! He probably was embarrassed by his own mother that he made a fake one instead. By the way she looks she is a Glassbook. Zac hates the Glassbooks. No wonder why he left the family for the Peachefare's and took Clara in to be his mother. The baby in her hands was smiling and giggling, but you heard no sound. The baby looked really light, so I just let it go.

She entered the room all silently as I felt a stabbing feeling my back. It was a knife! Mrs. Evans had a knife. The baby was on the floor, clearly it was a doll. I heard screaming and running from the house.

May, Riley, and Sue had made their way through the back to one of the old cars in front of another house. Zac was fighting of his mother as I grabbed my gun and shot her in the hand. She went down the the floor as she stabbed Zac's foot. I grabbed Zac and we ran. I was shot in the shoulder by her. I grabbed my gun for the final straw.

I shot her and down she went. She was dead. I was happy that I ran for my life with Zac to car. We jumped into the back. It was a big multipurpose van! Great! Now we can have a lot of food and get there with a lot of people inside of it.

We drove of to Philadelphia while it was midnight. I was tired, so I slept. May was rocking and rolling with the oldies songs playing. She was wide awake and I was ready to sleep, so I slept till twelve in the afternoon. Then we had to find Dad and Audrey.

I needed them.

And they needed me.
