Chapter 10

Now I have some explaining to do. First, back in Waxensaw Country we had a neighbor named Ben Williams, but one day he went to the Waxensaw Courthouse and transferred to Murky from Waxensaw. So when were in the room that we rented I thought of him.

So I took my phone an called him. He didn't pick up. I called him again. No response. Again. No response. I was stuck calling Ben seven times till he picked up his phone on the eighth try.

"Hello?" Ben asked as if he didn't see my contact info before he answered.

"Hello Ben? I need some help." I said straight forward to Ben hoping that Ben would be alright with it, but....

"I'm sorry Lilly, but I'm right now in a big battle, so you'll have to get help from someone else." He said trying to make me feel okay, but he just made me feel worse.

He hung up the phone. Conversation over. Now I don't know where you are from, but you don't just hang up on someone who asks you for help right?

"HEY WHO'S IN THERE!?!?" A man shouted in front of our door as people started to puns on the door.

Everyone inside started to get scared and worried, but I didn't. I grabbed my gun that I still had from yesterday morning, ran to the door, the opened the door and fired. All I remember from that was being shot in the shoulder and people lying dead. I looked around to see if I knew any and I saw the repairman that sat behind me lying dead and the repairman who fixed our bus dead. The others I didn't talk to on the bus, but their faces were familiar.

After the attack I grabbed the repairman's wife, May and Aunt Sarah and we darted out of the room as fast as we could for the stairs. I opened up the stairs door and just heard feet and saw people running outside for a vehicle.

When I made it outside I saw the bus starting up. When we collapsed on it, it was like people were switched out for others! I saw some Peachefare's, a few Glassbook's, two Murky's, and about six Waxensaw's.

When I sat in my seat, I saw the guy that replaced the repairman behind me. It was Ben.

"Hey Talk and Text why did you call me during the battle?" He asked as our bus started up. "You would like that if someone was in a battle that you wouldn't answer your phone right?" He asked, but this time he looked angry. "Well I can't blame you, I mean ever since Audrey -" He said until I cut him off at Audrey.

Wait a second, why was he all mad at me? Why did he answer my call? Why is he not helping me?

How does he know about Audrey being kidnapped?
